I have been obsessive over Hotel Allan since I stumbled across it on Spotify about 6 months ago. I honestly think that that album, combined with the four equally great singles, correspond to at least a third of all the music I've been listening since then, combined. I just never get tired of it. Every tenth time I listen to a song I still find something new. A new nuance of sorts. I think Tennessee is some of the best music I have ever heard. Actually. While writing this I listened to this song thrice. Not that I am that slow of a typer, but because I get lost in the lyrics every time. I find myself closing my eyes and sing along. Because I can feel it. But it more importantly, it is the combination of all songs on that Album that makes it so great. He's not only a musician, but also a storyteller. A poet. Hotel Allan deserves to be listened to in sequence. From start to finish. For consecutive times. First then can you fully appreciate Hotel Allan. Imho.
