I love using chalk paint on mason jars. I generally add a coat of matte mod podge on top to keep the paint from chipping.

Oh mason jars, yesss! :D I love me some white wax! A coat of clear gloss, satin or matte spray paint works as a nice top coat too. Im addicted to mason jar crafts. Hehe. Ive decorated, painted, glittered, etc at least 40,000 jars. Not kidding! LOL

I'd say spray them with a top sealer in clear. Like Rust-Oleum or Minwax Polycrilic.

I have a large old glass fishing float my cousin brought back from Guam which needs a new â jute netâ and the jute hanger you showed for the mason jar looks very similar to the â jute netâ that was on my glass fishing float. I've heard you and others, say you're using "wax" on your projects. I'm not familiar with that product. What kind of wax is it & what is the purpose of applying it?
Hi! Wax is a waxy substance that is either clear or has a color like white, brown or black. It's often used to seal painted surfaces or to add texture like I did this one. Thank you so much for watching

Can you please stop down your cameras aperture, if it's a dslr? Your lighting is too bright. Half the time we cannot see the things youre making. Esp. if they are white. Thanks.
