This will not be resolved if Jaz attitude is agressive and defensive. She is too stuck on thinking there is an issue when in reality it wasn’t but she is creating one. Bria gives off introvert which means she doesn’t have to ALWAYS be around people. Shes okay with being alone while Jazz is more extroverted soo she gets energy from being AROUND PEOPLE CONSTANTLY. I can relate to Bria after a while my social battery needs to recharge and I need space. Jazz just needs to understand that and accept it. But her attitude overall needs work.
Jazz was open to the conversation until she seen the energy Bria brought. But instead of being a concerned friend Jazz got defensive. Bria is definitely fighting a silent battle. If Jazz felt like it was something she should've check up on her friend instead of acting like she's too good to reach out to Bria. True kissed Jazz ass this whole episode instead of holding her accountable. Bria was quiet while Jazz was laughing in her face. That would've pissed me off. Also Bria stated she shows up for everybody and no one shows up for her....... the sign are there, I wanted to give Bria a hug
This really made me not feel sorry for jazz at all. Things happen in her life for a reason. She never holds herself accountable but want people to feel sorry. I don’t blame people for not wanting to be friends with jazz mean ass.

@@sspiderlandbicthmy friend went a whole year and I reached out all the time during that time and she never responded. She could have said Im working on things, can’t really talk. All of a sudden she text me out of no where trying to hash things out. I forgot about her and ended up moving on. People create distance and sometimes people give you exactly what you want. I lost all will to care anymore about fighting for the friendship.

Jaz was so upset they didn't talk, but could call her phone at any time. However, the time you chose to call her was when you was in the room with other girls, trying to confront her about someone else. That's weird.

I honestly feel as if Bria have some resentment towards Jaz because she wasn’t there for her pregnancy so now she feels like she should not have to be there for her. This felt more like an opportunity to confront Brea for Jaz vs. having a real conversation with her. She made several points that could’ve been elaborated on more instead of focusing on the park and close friends!!

Whew, I’m definitely Bria. I’m naturally a loner. I don’t have to talk to or be around my friends all the time, but when we do link or talk it’s no bad blood or misunderstanding because it’s overstood. It’s important to understand the character and personalities of your friends. If you gone feel some type of way and start making assumptions when those times come around, no, we don’t need to be friends. A simple text or call “you good? we good? I haven’t seen you post in a minute. everything cool?” could’ve eliminated any confusion. Life be lifing and you never know what people are going through so instead of becoming combative, just check in. If you feel like you’re giving more than you’re receiving then state that and move on.

I completely understand Bria. Sometimes life just hits us and we shut down. Instead of instantly thinking someone is being weird, just call or text and ask how that friend is doing. This episode is actually a little sad because this is really what happens to alot of friendships. Instead of us owning up to our wrongs and what we could do to help rekindle the friendship, we would rather say “we’re just growing apart”.

This whole interview was bias. The mediator main focus was to get Bria to see Jazz side but never tried getting Jazz to see Bria side. On both ends its a big lack of communication. Bria stated several of times she didnt have a problem wit Jazz until the Lena situation and yal main focus was why she didnt reach out. Hey why Jazz didnt reach out? They suppose to be bestfriends so obviously Jazz didnt wanna talk either. Nobody called to check on one or nothing. You can tell Bria having personal issues and she wanna be along but yal didnt care to hear her. Yal decided to attack her and force a issue thats not there so she became uncomfortable. Probably why she been by herself in a shell. Bria all about her peace
Bria coming to the table to talk a lot about her intentions. As soon as the show got started, jazz already had her boots strapped. Some people are introverts and prefer to deal with issues alone internally before socializing. I think in a friendship, it’s very important to accept your friends for who they are not who you want them to be. Also, the fact that Bria went through important, milestones alone yet she is expected to show up for others happily is not fair. I heard Briana loud and clear when she said I show up for everyone nobody shows up for me. I think that they should have explored that more than we explored the park or the phone call. She also clearly said that they weren’t on speaking terms, but she still had intentions of showing up. I don’t want to harshly judged jazz, but she gave off one-sided bully energy. I hope in the future a follow up conversation can be had and I would really like to encourage jazz to relax and listen more.

Y’all when you go through things in life and you see yourself as a genuine friend, and then nobody has shown up for you, then distance is normal. Bria probably done been through some things, she dealt with them alone, and now she is growing in another direction. She’s avoiding all conflict and disagreements. And it’s all okay. Now everyone can move forward. People grow apart. I isolate from my friends all the time and because they understand me, they respect me and my space. There’s no issue. That comes with maturity and growth in genuine friendships.

Bria, definitely had something that she is not telling that is the reason behind the way she was moving in regards to the relationship. There was something that happened before the Lena incident that Bria did not communicate and say how she felt. The Lena thing probably put the icing on the cake in her actually caring about the friendship. Sometimes in life due to the way we were raised, and the different situations we been through… we do not know how to communicate when something is wrong and we hold it in and deflect from our true feelings and it shows up different ways in our life. I do understand Bria likes to be alone, but isolation is a coping mechanism. I really hope that Bria can heal her inner wounds. I truly believe she is hurting. Jaz, I do feel like you need to work on your communication with people. To me you came off very hostile, aggressive, and defensive. I understand your frustration, but please come down the way you talk to people. I do believe that both of you all strongly care for one another, but there is a lot of healing that needs to be done in order to mend the relationship.

Okay, I understand both sides. Jaz: If we are classified as best friends and we were hanging out every day what happened? Yes, life happens and there are people who don’t want to be bothered throughout life but you have your few people that check in or vice versa and are there. Bria: I checked out and you didn’t realize until December so why weren’t you there for me when I couldn’t physically scream for help when I needed it.
The phone call was hurtful for both because Jaz felt replaced and Bria felt disrespected.
The gender reveal: Bria didn’t want to go. There were too many excuses for that day, hair wasn’t done, I got food, it was late.
Bria needs to be 100% honest about her feelings in the past year off camera and Jaz NEEDS to listen to her. I think it’s more on Bria’s end than Jaz’s end. I only say this because she’s reciprocating what she went through but it’s not going to give that person the same feeling that it gave you.

Jazz Talk So Damn Aggressive
I think Bria is going through something, and distance is how she copes. You could tell she was fighting back tears. The hostile tone was set as soon as the discussion began. I understand some people communicate differently, and calling each other names is okay but sometimes people outgrow those things and that type of communication is no longer acceptable. I think both need to take accountability, the "IDGAF" attitude is not okay, especially if you once considered eachother to be best friends. I go months without talking to my BF's, (We are adults with families, life is happening), but when we get on the phone we talk for hours. Jaz should had never called Bria with a bunch of girls around, especially if she hadn't talked to her in months. Bria has to stop thinking she doesn't need anyone because we all need somebody. I truly think Bria's distance starting in March had nothing to do with Jaz and everything to do with what she has going on personally. However when Jaz called her about the other young lady, that changed Bria's feelings towards her.
Bria should have just said she wasn't going to make it to the gender reveal, she really didn't want to go anyway because she was still feeling a way about the phone call. I wish they both would have acknowledged their wrongdoings and, at the very least, apologized to one another.

The ending made me sad for B Woods. When she turned away from True as he was wrapping it up, really got to me. She checked out completely. And I could be wrong, but I see a lot hurt and frustration in her that she’s not speaking about. Jaz energy was a lot from the jump (but maybe that’s just how she is), idk. But this conversation should have went completely different. They are both operating from pride and hurt feelings. I don’t think B Woods is being completely honest about why she fell back from Jaz, she seems like she checked out and is holding a lot back bc she already know how shit about to go,. But when you’re hoping for resolving something you can’t do that. Lay it all out. Jaz, the way she starts snapping and talking crazy immediately as soon as things aren’t going the way she looking for , ain’t cool. I honestly couldn’t be friends with somebody like that (but that’s just me) we would’ve been fell out with eachother! But maybe that’s just her defense mechanism to protect her feelings from getting hurt. I am Bria fr. I am an introvert and loner with anxiety. When it comes to friendships I like friends who understand who I am and everyday life struggles. I like to be alone and closed off not being bothered or bothering others feeling like I'm burdening them. I have friends that we may not talk for months but pick right back up where we left off and if they need me ill be there. I don't rely on friendships at all or care about who shows up for trendy celebration events. Understanding that not everyone has the same normalcy or beliefs is important in friendships. Its not normal for me to devote myself to school, working, cooking, cleaning, mom life, taking care of my man, mental break time, life struggles then several different friendships daily. At the end of each day I have no more energy to give but 30 mins to get ready for bed because I'm mentally and physically exhausted.
How did it go from talking about how Brea was alone during her toughest time to Jaz saying OH I got enough people who wanna be there for me..we not talking about you right now sweetheart. Brea was alone and y’all wasn’t checking for her

I totally understand what Brea is trying to say but she’s not articulating herself properly. Some people aren’t codependent in relationships in general, so it’s totally normal for them to go months without speaking to people. Others will take it personally thinking something is up & that’s when the bs starts up. Watching this it also seems like a lot is going on in her head just by her body language in beginning. I did the same thing went ghost on all my friends for months bc I was battling with very bad depression. talking to people became harder everyday and I just wanted to be left alone and isolated m. It’s like being trapped in your head all day, I wasn’t mentally in the right head frame to talk to people, it started feeling forced. I just wasn’t happy at all. But moral of the story you don’t know wtf ppl go through mentally and how hard ppl are trying to fight to see another day of life. And depression isn’t just a couple of weeks thing, people battle that shit for years. You can’t help other people when you can’t even help yourself and people don’t understand that.

There was no clear indication on why they stopped talking. No one could even pinpoint it so that part could’ve been thrown out easily. Both of them have a reason to feel how they feel BUT when being a mediator, you can’t make one person feel like what she’s saying is wrong when the other person is also being nonchalant and not even trying to understand. There was a lot of talking and yelling but no resolution. I think they still have a chance to resolve things but I think it should’ve been off camera.

There are tools that mediators use that works very well which is one party says how they feel the other person repeats back what they heard by saying for example “Bria I heard you say….” then asks if they left anything out. Then for example Jaz says “Bria you made me feel like…” and Bria repeats what she heard by saying “Jaz I heard you say…” and “did I leave anything out?” After going back in forth with this tool a common ground as to how both parties want to move forward comes to surface. All that happened here was disrespect and arguing like both aren’t even genuine human beings that is living life the best way they know how and that’s upsetting. This could have went a lot smoother. I’m so sorry that their friendship is not able to mend now. 😢
