Im also 30 years old.
But I'm not quite accepting of that and I believe it's because I am not entirely happy with where I am.
There are things I wanted to achieve in my twenties that I still haven't achieved .
But I cannot deny the fact that God has really blessed me.
Mpums, I completely get you sis. I really really get you.
This birthday has been one of my hardest because like you just heard, I’ve been dealing with quite a painful and disappointing loss. But also because this year there was no “big” accomplishment. I have nothing to point back to this year to celebrate. That’s been challenging.
But I’ve told myself “I’ve been here before” and my situation didn’t stay dire. It improved. Life improved.
And that’s my prayer and desire for you - that your life may improve and you will get to finally achieve the things you’ve set your heart and mind to.
We may be 30 but we still have time. And God is still in the business of blessing.
Keep your head up high. I’m rooting for you, and I can’t wait for the day you come back on this post to testify of how amazingly God has shown up in your life.

This reflection is so real, raw and honest. You are right - God has blessed you greatly in your 20s. You sound like you have stability and your 30s are going to be even greater. I'm turning 28 this year and yeah, the thoughts of the 20s ending are so real 😅 But we hold onto the Lord!
I must be honest with you, it was quite a difficult video to shoot and release. I was so nervous, but it’s out now and I pray that God uses it for His glory.
I’m not as stable as I’d like to be, but if I were there would be very little room for growth right? So I guess this is an opportunity to see God at work some more.
The joys of being in your 20s 😅 Hold on to it for as long as you can 😂 but please promise me you won’t go on this journey alone. It’s better with God ❤️

I remember back in varsity, whenever I got back to my res room from school, the atmosphere would shift. I felt the thickness of God’s presence that I never wanted to leave 🥺
That is the same thing I want for my home. For God’s cloud to be so thick here that everyone can feel it and everyone gets transformed by it.

Happy 30th sweetheart! I pray your 30s are sweet.. and challenging so that you continue growing. You will probably thank God for that breakup when you're with your husband even though it's so painful now (I'm so sorry about that). If there's one thing I've learnt, the more dramatic the exit the higher the praise. God literally moved heaven and earth to make sure things don't work out and you'll see this as time goes by and you enter the sanctity of marriage then you see with the spiritual eye ukuthi ooooooohhhh okay now I understand why it had to come to such a dramatic halt. May God continue to bless you and shine His face upon you. Keep thanking Him for all your blessings, they truly are blessings. God is with you and that's the best place to be- In His Presence! same thing happened to me with a guy i loved, my nervous system went into turmoil between last year and this year . maybe its some kind of phenomena. i will never forget
You know what I learnt? If God can speak through nature, He will sure speak through our bodies (which are nature too) and when you’re in danger, your nervous system will be the first to tell you 🥹

@@MpumiKMbonane i couldn’t agree more. i also learnt true spirituality . i think it gets thrown around quite a bit but i think it’s something you have to truly feel. in my experience it was gradual process but maybe for others it’s an epiphany.

First of all thank you for sharing your life with us it got me thinking how we litterally all go through similar things but one thing though God restores what is meant for you will work out you have probably heard that a lot but it is a fact .
