Was watching an Avenged Sevenfold doc..they mentioned this band as a huge influence on The Rev (RIP), and proceeded to do my homework. This type of sound was very progressive during its time, and I'm glad I found this, especially in my fog of perception of where the hell we're supposed to be, or find ourselves in, or where we were previously. See, I grew up in the 80s so we all knew Oingo Boingo (Weird Science) and was excited to learn Danny was writing music for like almost every Tim Burton movie( and more), but the fact that you know who he is and not from this band is awesome- no one has to love his music, but he is brilliant and is a musical genius- Or maybe I have you all wrong and you are a child of the 80s- either way- keep your mind constantly open, as you are, to listen to as much music of different genres and you will never be disappointed.

God I love Danny Elfman so much. It makes me sad being born in 1994, missing all those years to see him like this.
Not to rub it in, but in person, cameras don't even BEGIN to do them justice! I went to almost every concert in the 80s & right up to his Farewell concert, still own 2 copies of every one of their (VINYL) LPs and EPs, too. They were AWESOME! (Brings back some fantastic memories)

See, I grew up in the 80s so we all knew Oingo Boingo (Weird Science) and was excited to learn Danny was writing music for like almost every Tim Burton movie( and more), but the fact that you know who he is and not from this band is awesome- no one has to love his music, but he is brilliant and is a musical genius- Or maybe I have you all wrong and you are a child of the 80s- either way- keep your mind constantly open, as you are, to listen to as much music of different genres and you will never be disappointed.
