- Bukayo is a classic Filipino dessert made from sweetened coconut strips. It is traditionally made by simmering shredded young coconut with enough brown sugar until it becomes thick and solid
candy when cooled.
Ingredients:
2 pcs young coconut (magulang na buko)
(about 500gms when shredded)
400 gms brown sugar
1/4 tsp fine salt
1 tsp vanilla essence (or anise seeds)

Medyo matagal po... Yong malapot na malapot na pero hindi pa dry... Pag hinawakan mo magdidikit na dalawang daliri mo... Or kapag ilagay mo sa tubig mabubuo at mahahawakan mo na yong syrup... Medyo tricky ang timing dito.
for 1klo coconut butong how much sugar needed?can we use coconut water to dissolve sugar?procedure?time limit.i want watery sweet bukayo.
