IMPORTANT
If you are interested in photographing newborn babies yourself I would highly recommend you to first learn about photography in general. Master you camera, photograph in the Manual mode, learn about aperture, iso, shutter speed, white balance, light and composition. Take photos of your friends (adults or very patient older kids) and make sure you don't have to think about your camera anymore when photographing babies. Learn about editing as well. Please, don't experiment photographing Newborn babies without training. Attend a workshop by an experienced and professional photographer with an expertise in Newborn Photography. Learn about the anatomy of babies and invest in good quality cameras, lenses and props. Babies are extremely vulnerable and small and their safety and comfort should be your highest priority. Start with simple poses and make sure you know and understand that many 'pinterest poses' are composites. Please, don't try this at home. If you want beautiful photos of your own Newborn Baby, I highly recommend you to hire a professional and experienced photographer who is trained and specialised in Newborn Photography.

You are definitely pointing out that to be the photographer that one wants to market themselves as, one has to have the equipment, not all of it being photo taking gear. "I really should have had" or "this-or-that would have being good to have" as props will not cut it if one wills to be a professional.
Very true. Look for your own style and invest in a few really nice key pieces. In the past I would buy a lot more and now I buy a lot less, but what I buy I use almost every day.

Hoi Fenna! Wat een superleuk filmpje weer!!! Je inspireert ons zo! Word hier zó vrolijk van!!! Ik ben ook zeer benieuwd hoe je die boho prop gemaakt hebt (de prop die eigenlijk in je eigen woonkamer hangt). Ik kan er helaas niets van vinden op internet.

What flash do you use as I’m looking to upgrade my set up ?
I use two Godox speedlights. Very basic, but also great light and no cables (the have an internal battery which you can charge)
Hoi Fenna, leuk filmpje weer 🥰 Vraagje; jouw kledingrek, is deze stevig? Zo ja; waar heb je ‘m gekocht? Ik heb er 1 vd Ikea. Is niet ok ;)
Hoi! Ja dat kledingrek is mega stevig en ik heb er zelfs nog eentje bij gekocht en daar hangen mn backdrops aan. Nu een stuk goedkoper zie ik haha Heb er 65 eur voor betaald. What lens are you using?
For the newborn the 24-70 F2.8 and for the sitter the z50mm 1.8, both from Nikon on the Nikon Z6II
