Vladimir Putin in China

Beijing, May 16 (EFE) - Russian President Vladimir Putin landed in Beijing on Thursday for a meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping. It is Putin's second visit to China in less than a year, Xinhua news agency reported.
Putin arrived at the capital's airport shortly after 4:00 local time (20:00 GMT on Wednesday).
The visit follows Xi's recent trip to Europe, where he faced pressure from the West to persuade Putin to end his offensive in Ukraine. The two leaders are expected to discuss a range of bilateral and international issues during their meeting. (Camera: HANDOUT).
