Aristotle would answer these questions based in his own theory of knowledge with with: depends, let me understand if these questions have more than one meaning first, and see if these meanings are by equivocation or something else, before we see then as contradictions.
Ode and Bork, a fine job on this documentary. I enjoyed your exploration. I didn't quite understand the questions while during the interview but was pleasantly surprised while watching this. Even more thought-provoking after I watched it - Thank you!
Thank you for asking these questions. Will there be any more TRAC events upcoming? I'm asking from the year 2023. Haha. I would love to travel to the next one.
"Half of the beautiful pictures in the world are painted of people who are not beautiful." Willliam Morris Hunt Apropos the question of whether nature can be improved upon
Interesting, we are being asked to choose between the ideas of two philosophers and not artists or artistic traditions; philosophers who derive from two different cultures thousands of years apart; each philosopher has ideas and emphases that are useful and not necessarily mutually exclusive. The question is "What was Kant - an eastern European/ eastern Prussian who was of the minor nobility and who had Jewish roots - reacting to; and why did his philosophy have such appeal to an atheistic population?
It is a sign of brain incapacity to say i dont like Kant or Aristotle like I like milk or don’t like milk; it just not matter, it matters that they are important, and Aristotle still far more important.
deceiving! Does not adhere to Aristotle ¨Poetics¨ ¨either by art or faculty ¨ . But nevertheless, this quasi sectarian Questionaire has its merits as long as we detach from the source. Be honest and you will OnLY get Odd as an accomplished visual voice predicating here. Zilch of Odds Students has managed to equal Odd. The students of Odd must be very sloppy copyists ?! But Odd, is himself an eccentric - there's nothing(!) of Titian, zero Rennaisance or Baroque or Roccoco and only Rembrandt as technical guide which only technically and ¨simply¨ is appropriated but not assimilated. Odd is quite good, but none of his pupils are! That Odd sect has a lot to say which I deem worthy and fun to think about, but if there's a pupil of Odd's and some Kantian Renegade, I would say... either, or. Besides, nothing points to Odd - along the lines of these 12 Questions - being anything other then a Kantian.
do you paint by candle light or LED?
"LED..."
ding! Kant.

Thankyou! It really put the light on what kind of thoughts that rules people in the artworld today.
"who are you?"
"I don't know."
"You're being philosophical already.". Lol
Love this! I always appreciate the videos and content you produce, thank you.
1:30 - "oh - you're philosophical already" - got me laughing
that was a cliché answer lol
This is such an incredibly informative interview/survey with experts. Very fascinating!
Wow, in love with this video and all the interesting people in it. Very well made and edited!

The old woman (Lori) is the most pretentious in the sense that she pretends to be pretentious in the hope that she is not viewed as pretentious.
The irony:
Aristotle's philosophy was opposite of Plato's.
That was very interesting! Thank you for sharing this survey.
Some interesting answers here. Good stuff.

I enjoyed this wideo.
oh.. the futile self-importance of art academics... figuring it all out for the rest of us. How do artists ever get anything done without your help?
Great. Loved it :)
The bonus question for a sequel: "Do you think if a person called Kant can be a serious philosopher?" ;)
question #6, 11:47, answers yes, 1 point to Aristotle, 11:57, same question, answers no, 1 point to Aristotle?
he phrases the question in the contrapositive in the former case
I like what the other conference you have says... Art means that question 10 is not valid anymore, no art police!
so ppl are divided, nice. glad its not "you are either with us or against us". guess im a Kitsch-artist xD
How would Kant answer question #9? Very puzzling

Definitely Kitsch person

I am almost 60% Kant
my brothers are the coolest!
They certainly are! :)
Aftur Spildo, they are amazing . So are their sisters
Kant's philosophy has led to so much cultural and intellectual harm.

who are you? idk! so KITSCH lol
