I can attest to the part near the beginning of what David mentioned that voice actors are super nice and since I met him back in 2018 in Dublin Comicon and I truly loved chatting to him for such a short amount of time.

I've been reminiscing about meeting this legend just over a year ago, and this popped up on my recommended feed. What a guy. So good with the fact that I have been playing the mgs collection.
There's a great Snake Tales mission on mgs2 where you play in his mgs1 outfit, and he bumps into Meryl. I would take a mgs1 remake even if it was the mgs2 HD collection graphics.
I'm kind of hoping they do an mg1 and 2 remake, too.

@@silentartist7854 Aside from what they post on Twitter (X), I’ve involved myself in their workshop classes that almost every voice actor seems to be doing this past decade.
Crispin Freeman: Took his workshop class along with 7 other people, it was about 4 hours of remember correctly. Had the opportunity to speak with him personally and he’s extremely narcissistic and passive aggressive. He loves to hear himself talk, he’ll interrupt you mid sentence and talk down to you like a child. He also makes off hand comments, positioning them in a way that doesn’t allow you to retort. He and his assistance also threatened all of us if we release any audios of the class, which doesn’t go against any rules, they just claim it’s “unprofessional”. Really, they just don’t want you to reveal how awful they are.
Steve Blum: Years ago I attended a webinar of his after my workshop with Crispin Freeman. Steve explained what the webinar would be about only for it to be anything but. In short, the webinar was just Steve stroking his own ego, bragging about his roles, and ending the session with telling people to stare at a bug (literally, he suggested people to help creativity by going outside and watch a bug, and the webinar wasn’t even supposed to be about creativity to begin with). The webinar was designed to sell you on buying workshops and classes from Steve,nothing more. That is not what was advertised.

In conclusion, never meet your heroes. Never. They put on a facade to make themselves look better because the individual in voice over is the brand. These workshops and classes are a scam designed to continue pulling from your wallet by leading you onto the next classes with promises upon promises. The only reason they’re so successful at it is because they’re using their name and experience to lure newbies in who don’t know better. Research these actors, you’ll find that they all come from wealth, live in the wealthy states attending the wealthy universities, and they all have a talent in scamming people. They’re born into it, they had the luxury of connections and the resources earlier than anyone else. And remember, they keep it in the family.
