This is an interesting and fun story to tell; I am not the type of person to throw things away. Instead, I like to get as much use out of it when I purchase something as possible. So, instead of throwing away a torn piece of pants or socks, I will invest in a sewing needle and some thread. Taking a few moments to sew up a small tear is already very therapeutic and doesn't take much time. Therefore, I am finding a way to introduce meditation into my routine. However, where this story becomes very amusing are the reactions of everyone in my immediate circle to this practice. Every Christmas, my parents, siblings, and friends will purchase new socks while I continue to sew up old ones to still get as much use out of them. I will never have to repurchase socks because now I have a surplus. Then a tiny revelation that what I did purely out of amusement and a small meditative practice broke a cycle to go out and purchase new socks. It got me thinking about what other cycles we are bound to that we don't even think about? How often do we continue to purchase the same small cup of coffee or return to the dollar store or to Walmart for the same products? Therefore, one more habit of consideration will make you richer. Consider what practices you use every day, week, month, or year and how much money is being lost. Take the time to think about it, write it down, and ask yourself if purchasing a coffee every morning from a shop is worth it or if your coffee machine is a better investment? Instead of buying a new car, look at who carpools or finds a living arrangement to reduce the commute. Then, find a way to break those cycles, and save more money over time. Plus, have fun with life and tease those closest to you. You will be surprised by the dividend of happiness that it provides, making stress, in the long run, more accessible as a result.

Budgets are the WRONG way to build wealth. Instead of budgeting, I just set predetermined monthly, annual, and 5-year TARGETS for saving/investing. As in, I will put aside a target amount of X dollars a month towards saving/investing, with an annual saving/investing target of 12X dollars (this allows for monthly variations, i.e. if you fall short of your monthly target in February, you can make it up in March, and so on) ... And all of this goes towards reaching my 5-year goal of having Y dollars saved/invested by Jan 1, 2027. So once I meet my monthly target, I am free to do whatever I want with the rest of my money.

I believe tracking your net worth is more important that your credit rating. Credit rating helps you if you want to use leverage(debt), but net worth helps you to not need to use leverage(debt). One is the horse, the other is the carriage!

This is an interesting and fun story to tell; I am not the type of person to throw things away. Instead, I like to get as much use out of it when I purchase something as possible. So, instead of throwing away a torn piece of pants or socks, I will invest in a sewing needle and some thread. Taking a few moments to sew up a small tear is already very therapeutic and doesn't take much time. Therefore, I am finding a way to introduce meditation into my routine.
However, where this story becomes very amusing are the reactions of everyone in my immediate circle to this practice. Every Christmas, my parents, siblings, and friends will purchase new socks while I continue to sew up old ones to still get as much use out of them. I will never have to repurchase socks because now I have a surplus.
Then a tiny revelation that what I did purely out of amusement and a small meditative practice broke a cycle to go out and purchase new socks. It got me thinking about what other cycles we are bound to that we don't even think about? How often do we continue to purchase the same small cup of coffee or return to the dollar store or to Walmart for the same products?
Therefore, one more habit of consideration will make you richer. Consider what practices you use every day, week, month, or year and how much money is being lost.
Take the time to think about it, write it down, and ask yourself if purchasing a coffee every morning from a shop is worth it or if your coffee machine is a better investment? Instead of buying a new car, look at who carpools or finds a living arrangement to reduce the commute. Then, find a way to break those cycles, and save more money over time.
Plus, have fun with life and tease those closest to you. You will be surprised by the dividend of happiness that it provides, making stress, in the long run, more accessible as a result.

Budgets are the WRONG way to build wealth. Instead of budgeting, I just set predetermined monthly, annual, and 5-year TARGETS for saving/investing. As in, I will put aside a target amount of X dollars a month towards saving/investing, with an annual saving/investing target of 12X dollars (this allows for monthly variations, i.e. if you fall short of your monthly target in February, you can make it up in March, and so on) ... And all of this goes towards reaching my 5-year goal of having Y dollars saved/invested by Jan 1, 2027. So once I meet my monthly target, I am free to do whatever I want with the rest of my money.
Alux seemed to be creative before but now they seem to be a little repetitive. They can maybe talk more on building relationships, emotional well being, physical fitness etc as these skills are also pivotal to become rich

This depends on the type of debt you are talking about. School loan debt and credit card debt is not good debt, not when they charge interest between 6 per cent and 20 plus percent!? Real estate debt is what I would call good debt, however, you still have to buy right, you have to watch the numbers and pay that debt back as soon as possible. Contrary to popular belief these past few years, there is no such thing as free money!!!!!
