- Lionel Messi is the football player with the most goals in el clasico - but which football boots has he worn in his career? Today, JayMike take you on a trip down memory lane and looks at all the football boots that Lionel Messi has worn from 2006 and right up to today - where Lionel Messi decided another el clasico.
In the beginning, Lionel Messi was wearing the Nike AZT90 and Tiempo Legend football boots He switched to adidas before the world cup in 2006. Here, Messi debuted the F30.6 as he didn’t like the TUNiT system, and continued wearing the F30 models from F30.7 to F30.9. By 2009, Lionel Messi wore the takedown of F30i - the football boots he used to score in the UEFA champions league final against Manchester United.
After the 2010 world cup, Messi got a gold signature colourway and bagged ANOTHER Ballon d’Or before tearing apart Manchester United AGAIN in the second generation of the F50 adizero in 2011. Messi continued his sensational form and in 2012 he broke Gerd Müller's record with 91 goals wearing the second adizero Micoach generation. After that, Messi won Ballon d’Or number four.
For the 2014 world cup, Messi rocked his unique F50 adizero Samba Multicolour and his limited adizeros celebrating his 370 career goals. For the 2014-15 season, adidas decided to give Messi his own silo line - simply called Messi. He wore the Messi 15.1 in the 2015 champions league victory against Juventus.
For the 2017 el clasico, Lionel Messi wore the adidas Messi 16.1 Turbocharge football boots and scored twice to put the FC Barcelona in the driving seat for the 2017 La Liga title.

Adidas have definitely killed the game with boots for Messi! The best pair adidas have released for Messi is the 15.1 celebrating his 5th balon d'or. With the other Messi 15.1 boots they added more than 1 color but for this color way it was all white which made it stand out from the rest and look so much more cleaner!

My favorite Messi boot ever is the Messi 15.1 in the blue and yellow colorway. I really do enjoy that combination of colors that include yellow, blue, and kinda of grayish in the heel. This boot was a complete standout to the pitch and even so Messi who's already shining on the step on the field. The boot has many memories such as Messi winning the Champions league and the same year he had won his 5 ballon d'or that also had an exclusive limited edition boot. Messi and Adidas had introduce his own Sprint Frame that was an absolute structure to have that agility,speed, and grip just like the magic Messi has . I really did enjoy the stud pattern and it was so incredible that today the Sprint Frame is implemented to Messi 16.1 that is again one of the best boots in my opinion. The boot had awesome lock down as it had a cage to keep your foot not moving around inside. Although, this boot has no background story just like Messi F50 adizero or the Messi 10.1 pibe del barro that represented his childhood the Messi 15.1 is also great memory of Messi being the first player to win 5 ballon d'or no one has ever done that also includes his champions league final he had taken a picture with his son. Now to modern day the Messi 16.1is also a memory because Messi had score 500 goals in that line of boots.After Messi and Adidas making the 16.1 together they had made that agility knit upper and mono tongue that is assure to keep playing like himself. I would really love to have those boots as to today to have the current boot Messi has so I can feel as I have his history on my feet.
My favorite messi boot is the 2016 10/10 Pureagility Kryptonite it looks as bright as the sun.

The Messi's 16.1 look incredible and I think it was meant to be gold because with this boots he will win the golden boot. As an Argentinian, crazy for Messi and having him as a roll model inside the fields, would be fantastic to wear his boots. Hope to be lucky ! My favourite is probably the Samba Pack 2014 adizeros, loved the mix of all the Samba Pack colourways on that white base, looked fantastic on feet. That adizero was a damn good boot too.
the red and white boots are my favorite because they look very simple but at the same time stand out on the pitch when you are playing. Love you guys at Unisport keep up the great work.

My favourite boot it's the F50 samba
My favorite Messi boots have to be the PibeDelBarrio f50s. Living in Argentina as a kid the Color-way really does a great job of representing Argentina, Rosario, and especially Leo.
The graphic on the heel of the shoe uses a blend of rough looking colors as well as cage/fence images. This represents the streets of Rosario and what it is like to play in the province. Pibe del barrio literally means like the boy from the neighborhood...and this graphic is meant to express what Messi could've seen and or experienced in the Barrios of Argentina.
Next we move on a little bit further down the shoe to a bit of black. I think that this represents a rough past. The year before these boots came out, Messi lost in the World Cup final and he and all of us in Argentina were absolutely devastated. The transition on the boots to white represent a bright new future, a clean slate. These boots don't just look cool, but to me represent something much more complicated than just a sweet design.
Lastly, Messi went on to win the treble that year after a very difficult previous year. He played a major part in one of the best seasons in Barcelona's rich history. He also scored one of the best goals of his career in these beautiful boots, running past 4 Bilbao defenders and leaving the basque goalkeeper helpless as he led Barça to victory.
That's why the PibeDelBarrio boots are my favorite Messi boots. :)

My favourite Messi boot is that volt, purple and red colorway. They just bring so many memories from 2011 when Messi played maybe the best football in his career and won the champions league and UEFA supercup. I have seen only one FC Barcelona's game live in Camp nou. That was against Racing club santander and Messi scored two amazing goals there with these boots.

My personal favourite is the miroasrio boots, the red and blue just contrast so well and Messi played incredible in them (not that he didn't in the rest of his other boots but that was my personal favourite season). And he wore those boots and won the treble that year. Great memories. Great pair of boots. Greatest of all time.
my favorite are the f50 adizero micoach in the white and gold colorway, celebrating his 3rd ballon d'or. The white and gold just compliment eachother amazingly and the f50 adizero was the perfect speed boot (don't quite know why adidas discontinued the line). this was a tough choice but i think this clean boot just beats the rest overall. legendary boots for a legend of the game

My favourite messi boots have got to be the PIBE DE BARR10 10.1. The colour way is amazing and very unique along with the fantastic sole plate which just screams speed and agility. I still use them to this day, although I feel it's time for an upgrade but they have done me well so far.

Absolutely a Messi fan over here! Out of all the awesome signature boots, I think the first signature boot he got is the best one. The 2nd gen F50 Adizero MiCoach, red and white, the one you have on the table. Never had that boot and I still regret it to this day. Don't know why tho, but I just love the color and that shoe 🤘🏼 (plus he made an amazing goal against Bilbao, coming on as a sub and eventually winning the game)

Now Jay I know this is going to sound weird, but I really appreciated it when Messi showed of the F30's. Because it shows that you don't have to have the best and most expensive boots to be great at the game. As I'm sure you'll agree with this i know some parents will. (Because they don't have to buy expensive boots for their kids). These boots showed the early progress Adidas had made with their boot line up. With a hidden lacing system for a cleaner strike on the ball. Much like todays Pure chaos or Messi's, + Pure agility. This shows that Adidas was looking into the future of football development.
Overall these were available to anyone at the time which meant young children could feel like their star player. These boots would have been inexpensive as they are a takedown model and if Messi can play in them they must be pretty damn good.

The adizero gold colour way was one of the first cleats I ever bought myself.... I saved up enough many and even though my parents had offered to pay for them I insisted and bought the boot of my hero at the time. It still is today one of my all time favourite shoes but now I love the pureagilitys!

JAY! my favorite pair of messi boots is when he scored 370 goals for barca. Adidas gave him a shine pair of f50s. I love the disco ball looking color way and to make it even better, one boot had a red design and the other had a blue design.
the volt/purple f50 is just beautiful and fits perfect with barcelona's colour way, I had them but the cheapest version. I hope I win the golden boots I like every messi boot but these are just glorius, like and keep doing these videos:)

Mine is definitely the red and yellow f50 adizeros, i wore them for my last season in high school and scored 2 hat tricks! They were comfortable, light, with a little touch of flare.

Mine is the f50 adizero because they were the topnotch boots when I was small and everyone wanted to have those boots!
My favorite Messi boot was the Messi adizero samba, the reason why I was my favorite was because it was my first ever Messi boot!! I really loved it so much due to the beautiful colors like a rainbow, I would feel really agile when I wore them, I felt light, and most important I felt comfortable, and hopefully I can with the new Messi cleats in the turbocharge pack!!

The 16+ PureAgility is the way to go right now because of the lace cover which makes for a good touch of the ball and because it is so sticky it is amazing for dribblers like Messi. Wouldn't mind winning the 16.1 though.
The chameleon F50 Adizero still look good today. Those are my all time favorite boot that Messi wore.

I personally think some of Lionel Messi boots are great but nothing compares to his 16.1 space dust. We've all seen primary color green on Nike and adidas boots but this has a touch of green with a type of black color coat which I find very presentable, it's like CR7 black/pink/sky blue boots and there is nothing better than black as people would say black goes with everything.

My favorite boot is the most latest Messi boot from turbocharge, but also I really like blue/orange Messi's 16.1, only because those boots gave me such a joy watching Barca beating PSG in last seconds, and Messi destroying Real at Santiago Bernabeu, and those moments cannot be described by words, you just have to feel them, and thanks by Messi, I had a chance to watch and fell unforgettable moments that last forever.

The best messi boot is the new bronze turbocharge. I like how adidas got rid of the lace cover and stuck to the roots of the f50 because I love the f50s! Plus, it is hard for me to admit that I am impressed by messi's performance in the el classico yesterday, even though I am a diehard Real fan. but, I really like these boots and well done to Messi yesterday!

The best messi boot is the new gold/bronze turbocharge with the lace cover! They look so sick and they are so sleek. That might've not been on the list, but those are by far my favorite! The Messi 16.1 is my favourite because it has a soft and flexible upper and the sole plate is also grippy and responsive. Plus, it can fit both wide and narrow feet.
the messi 15.1 10/10 limited edition cleats are my pick, plainly because they have all a top end football shoe needs, it has amazing comfort and good durability and is all topped off with its slick styling.

Its gotta be the white/Gold colorway after he won his 3rd Ballon d' Or...such a great color combo, especially with the red studs to offset it.
In my opinion, the messi 16.1 is by far the best boot, they are super comfy with the agility knit and also very light weight, they give a much more closer touch to the ball as compared to the pureagility, and my favourite colourways by far are the red limited and blue blast boots...
