- This is the start of my new series: From The Depths Builds! This series (and game) will be replacing my TerraTech Builds series. FTD is an awesome game, and one my favorites, with an infinite amount of building options, customization and decorations!
I've only played this game a little, and I don't know too much about most of the game, but I know how to build warships, and I'm always open to comments about what I could do better or differently, or perhaps some other tips on how to play the game or build better. - Hry

Very cool destroyer!!!! Ive been thinking about one of these. I love the look of the anti missile guns but i might replace them with lasers since theyre always accurate and very fast. I'd recommend the campaign, its an awesome environment to test your fleet.
Thank you! I need to work on this again sometime, as I've learnt a ton of stuff since making it, and I have yet to try the campaign, as all of my builds are way too expensive for it, but maybe I'll make some smaller, cheaper ships.
Yay new information I'll probably never use in everyday life.
Most of the stuff I know is completely useless.

helis are so cool, but soo hard to do, imagine the world where you can make helis that dont just spin
That is the one think I don't like about this game, how difficult aircraft are to make. I really should watch a guide on PIDs, because I think that would fix my problems.
tip, learn decos, in like 2 hours of videos and testing ur already gonna make ur builds look 100% better, maybly using blocks and slopes resised to make the angles and turrets better, as if you want a small turret cap that looks good, your gonna need it anyways, use ctrl shift x to direcly place the thing you selected to place it as deco, and edit it afterwards, another thing its usefull is turret misile lauchers, just so it looks better, hiding the misiles

I saw you second comment, don't worry. This was one of my first builds, and I learnt a ton of stuff from it. I know how to do decorations now, they just take a ton of time and effort, so I usually end up moving to a new build.

Btw. You don't need to connect the ammunition Warner, laser Warner or the decoys to the ai for them to work

120+ hours hasnt touched rhe campain. Yeah sounds accurate.
I honestly just got this game to build cool ships, but I have a cool idea for a campaign series with a bunch of ships I plan to build.
when is part 2
Soon. My next build took way more time to plan and build, but it isn't even finished because I still am learning how decorations work, but when it is finished and the video comes out, it will be one of my coolest video game creations ever!

Even tho i have 800 hours of gameplay, my ships still looks not as good as this
Well I have mostly played building / designing games and I have over 700 hours in TerraTech, which is like FTD, but more focused on land and air with no water physics. However, I build a ton of ships that hovered so that's where I got some shipbuilding knowledge. I also look at the specs and 3D models of real ships that I base my builds off of to make them look better and more accurate.

i have like 80 and my ships look maybe even better then that, and i problably know more about the game, mainly about misiles and aps, because i watch a lot of videos, my total craft cound is around 35 mostly ships about 3-4 planes 4 logistics, and 2 subs, almost all use only aps misiles and a litle bit of lasers, touched the campaign but then realised, my ships sucked (at like 35 hours) so yeah
