I've thought about Holmes young as an early main before, but he isn't that good as a transcendence and tenant wise the only transcendence main to go to from Holmes young would be SSM, who isn't recommended as 1st transcendence main for f2p players, so I never did it.

Best advice I can give you for SL is to use some level 100 Iceblinks because they lower the enemies attack when they hit them so it could buy Holmes a few rounds in tandem with his doves.
