Don't know what you're talking about, there is still empowering songs. I listen to lots of different genres and subgenres. From Solange to Arctic Monkeys. From Maxwell to P!nk. From Megan Thee Stallion to Ed Sheeran. I like music that makes me dance or cry, so I go and find it. And I know empowering music is out there. People who say this aren't trying hard enough to find music, they're just seeing what's in the mainstream and assuming. The industry unfortunately pushes whatever it wants to, it's not the artists' fault. They are there making all sorts, whatever is their style. Go and FIND the ones who are making what you want.

@Deanh Well that's not even true really, there are still empowering songs on the radio. Maybe they don't frame it exactly how you want it (e.g. swearing). But some people don't care and some do. It always comes back to preference of course. But anyway...

I remember seeing this clip for the first time in a pub in London. The sound was off but I remember thinking 'Shit, that's Canary Wharf!' I lived in Canary Wharf for many years so takes me back all the old familiar things that pop up in this video... the DLR Stations, the Greenwich foot tunnel, the dock cranes and my personal favourite - the ASDA carpark at 3:00 minutes!
