The opening riff is one of the most delicious riff's i've ever heard
It's good, but you need to listen to some more riffs, my dude
@@notstarboard I think he's right
You should look into nightshade-uchronia
I absolutely LOVE that the guitars switch back and forth, it's truly so amazing . They have such a beautiful chemistry with one another 💯🤘🏻👌🏻
That's why this is my favorite album of this year
One of my favorite bands, love the playthroughs, and I can’t wait to see you December eighth! Super psyched
Brutal yet artistic
Love these videos so I can get some OAA instrumentals! No offense Jake, you are loved.
no you're right... taking out the "singer" is the only way i can listen to these
We need deadweight playthrough !!!!!
Elliot Simpson DRUM PLAYTHROUGH
i know, ive been waiting for that forever
And live performance video
I would say we need a whole album playthrough!
This is the best guitar playthrough I've ever seen hands down
Probably the best one yet. The creativity is inspiring. They need to bring out an instrumental album asap!!
Thank you so much for this guys! Been waiting for these for so long!
i freaking love this whole damn album...cant say for many bands in this genre - i actually dont mind the vocalist one bit, his singing is good and his screaming is good
Who mixed this? It sounds FANTASTIC
Chris Turner did!
I noticed this mix is Nick Sampson for sure!
Christ Turner recorded and Nick Sampson mixes
Their music is so perfect!
Can't tell how happy I am about this!!
Omg yes!! Been waiting for this video, so sick!
Absolutely incredible
I see they are still letting the drunk cameraman show up to work.
Don't tell me when to drink my beer
Awesome work, very smooth and clean!
Jake Kindred lmfaoooo you're actually the camera nigga
The opening riff is just so smooth. This just proves you don’t need lyrics for a song to still be good (when it originally had them mind you!!)
I can watch these all day yoo
Sounds so good! So much talent :)
Omg I have no words the best metal core band of all time I LOVE YOU GUYS !!!!!
ethan marte second best. After august burns red
rageaholic_666 I CAN HIGHLY AGREE W THAT
rageaholic_666- 100% my dude. Phantom anthem i super good. So is hikari tho
This is considered metalcore? God I'm old. And I'm 23.
@@notstarboard it's prog metalcore
Damn! Deliciously heavy... I'm broken into pieces right here...
Legends
It's so refreshing to see metalcore played on 6 strings. I've been playing guitar for 30 years, been in a few metalcore bands myself. I still have not ever once, felt the desire or need for more strings. These guys are proof you don't need 7 or 8 strings to make fabulous djent and metalcore tunes. bravo!
jinjer agrees
What 7 string pissed in your cereal man 😂
Thanks for this ! Amazing !
I can't wait to see OAA in a few weeks on their headlining tour!
Praise Spotify for directing me to these cats. Shit is bonkers, love this album. Looking forward to digesting the rest of their catalog.
the magic that Oceans Ate Alaska creates to me, is all in the music, they should be an instrumental band, whoever sings for them brings them down big time, the singer makes them sound like a million other bands and he sings like a million other singers, but the music is magical and amazing
THE VERY FABRIC OF MY BEING , is fucking torn !!
beautifull guitars....
And song
this makes my mind release some happy chemicals out there.
Iove this
Laura Voitik love u
Hypnotizing
Sick dudes
I love it!!!!!!!!!!!
How can someone give this a thumbs down??
Something wrong in his mind
Bots
D-D-D-Djent
Sounded amazing..
Always love that 1:22 :'D
Agreed. Something really satisfying about it for some reason.
Part that gave me chills.
What guitars do they use?
Amazing, wish they played the outro though
Both monsters
Damn
Wow🎸,I'Love 🔥and how well the drums sound😏🤘i'am from Argentina...
From 2:49 musicman ad was so natural
that guitar tone.... dialed up perfectly
Same for hansha pls!
crying
No, don't cry babe
oh sth!!!! this is banger!!
what kind of 4/4 is this?
Really wished they played through that acoustic part
Yeah :'D
What tuning is this in?
very very cool
I was viewing at 13,000
But wowzah these guys skills are amazing
I feel like they tuned down a half a step, still drop B?
1:10 more like this please
0:45 that tapping make it sounds like it singing the chorus
1:08
ah sugoii desu ne!
🤘
光!!
tune is 432hz?
Pls, guitar playthrough of benzaiten or birth marked🙏
Poor bassist :(
Ajriel Aflah- dont u mean poor drummer ;) im guitarist btw
Guylum Alfaro i mean their basist never get the playthrough , the last one is high horse😂
Ajriel Aflah-oh😂 my bad
*cough cough* Architects
That's bassists life.............................
I love you so muchhh that soundsss sooo fuckinggg gooooodddddddddd lml
For some reason whenever I see a 6-string Music Man my eyes start to trip.
Quick question I been listening to Oceans for yeeeears and I still have no idea who the lead guitarist is, is it Adam or Jibs? I like how they like switch back and forth but who's the lead?? Someone help pls
I don't know myself so I won't say for certain, but I'd assume Adam only because the way he plays is much more fluid and without a ton of unnecessary movement on either hand unlike Jibs. But then again, like most bands with more than 1 exceptional guitarist it probably depends on the song as to who is lead.
BASHEDET two BASHEDET There’s no solos really in their music but there are lead parts in their song, so idk if there really is a lead guitarist
Stan Halen no hate towards you man but, I’m a guitar player(idk if you are too lmao) but just because a guitar player uses more movement doesn’t make them bad necessarily, they’re both great players, and technique also comes in to play but i won’t go that direction
Wooow x)
What tuning is this
Cute Doggo Drop A, where A = 432hz.
Actually drop B 432hz
What does that 432 Hz mean? Is the tuning still normal drop a?
Mr. kartoffelboy normally, A = 440hz is the reference pitch of all notes, but they brought it down 8 cents to A = 432hz. It’s a little confusing but you’ll understand what i mean if you play along to this track in drop b 440hz rather than drop b 432hz. And on that note, the song is in Drop B (432hz).
1:41 caught red-handed.
Vojtěch Krása what?!?!
@@scottanthony375 the guy with the bun went a little to early
Jonathan Flores ahhh cheers dude! I was watching it repeatedly and didn’t spot it when I commented lol 😂 cheers 😊
I want a bass cover now.
I came here for for the music man guitars, stayed for the song hahaha
The focus pulling is giving my eyes a seizure!
Looks like it's synthetic and it's not done very well imo.
Yo
all studio
it's 2023 and I'm still here❤❤❤
光と書かれた提灯がいいね。
i hope they make benzaiten guitar playthrough :)
still here for the drums 😅
2:41
Anyone mind giving me tips on how to play faster?
godofwar0678 practice your picking at a metronome, start slow and speed up after you feel that you can go further, search google for some example exercises
Grox Box how do you use a metronome I've been playing guitar and haven't used one before. Do you play a note on every beap you here or in between the beaps?
Learn how to hammer on and pull off
kerem clark yeah I know how to do that just not at this insane speed lol
godofwar0678 play notes along with the metronome click, you can do it between them but it may be a little harder
la wea wena
I'll play this in a month's training! Later I'll reply to this for y'all to watch the cover.
This is not a diss. This is a public self-challenge.
hows it going so far
@@niksober1172 life impeeded severely the practice of this specific song, yet I am glad to reply that the chorus is taken care of
No bass playthrough yet?
Anyone else see Jibbs sleeve go from his elbow down to his wrist and back up again several times? Example 1:34 - 1:35
Im gona find the tabs 👿
lmk when you do!!!!!
godofwar0678 listen by your ear, it will be increase your skill
Whoever mastered this instrumental track forgot that kick and lo toms are loud, jfc that clipping.
So no bass huh? :(
We want a song
Damn only 6 strings huh
38th
D k riffs
Omae wa mou shindeiru :v
Juan Salvador Lomeli Niño Nani!?
no ones doing it like this imo. So math and tech!
Sean Thompson not really...? it’s just the more talented end of metal core lol. it’s good but it’s not like it’s technical math metal or something
i mean don’t get me wrong, they have a lot of more technical riffs but not really in this song. escapist is pretty technical but it’s not really math metal or even prog.
Brody Smith yep definitely
RandomCrew PotatoSoup Yeah I hear you for sure. I guess I mean the total package of how they mesh together including their drummer who is amazing! This song isn't the most technical but songs like escapist and others really impress me with their symmetry.
Hansha anyone ?
I prefer them being an instrumental band than having a vocalist. Their time signatures are incredible. No hate to the vocalist tho.
baker23 instrumental music is boring!
Fuck the British are getting too good at Djenting America needs to step up
Really not a fan of Orange for metal, but hey, I'm just a guy
a drummer downvoted
SO MUCH BETTER without the shitty screams 😊
Shut the fuck up.
Wow such fanboys. Copied not only the guitars, but the hair too. Wow.
Julius Javellana what do u mean?
This band is on a whole nother level 😵💫😵💫 they are one of a kind 🖤🖤
