Unbelievably Bad Company has never been put into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.A true crime against humanity.
@nightcitypunk8517 and yet they put Dolly Parton in and she sung country music heck even rappers too that is strange
Dude: the entire fallacy which IS "the r 'n' r hall of shame" is a crime again humanity!!
...jawn weiner and his underservedly wealthy friends (whom this is a project to entertain them and sustain their veil of "some form of actual 'worth' " -which they DO NOT POSSESS, OR DESERVE!).
You need to rejigger your thinking if you have ever considered this institution: "legitimate" or "actually representational."
Please!
Nah- badge if honor. If you consider how much great talent hasn't been selected, while shit often has made it in, the criteria for entry is moronic.
Paul Rogers refused about 7 times apparently because he believes rock àn roll ain’t for no museum! Truly living up to their name,🇬🇧👍be lucky
This whole album is a masterpiece. Not one bad song on it.
Burning Sky is like that too.
Paul Rogers voice is top 5 best imo
ELVIS PRESELY, ROBERT PLANT. FREDDIE MERCURY. STEVE PERRY. PAUL ROGERS
Easy! I think a lot of other singers name him as their favorites.👍
@@theodoreritola7641 Ronnie James Dio
💯
You are both right imo. The chorus seems blues and JP's solo very rock like. The verses are western like. This song is an anthem ... Bad Company squared.
THIS IS HOW WE ROCKED BACK THEN!!!!!!
Loved playing this one with my band.
Swan Song record company. Those that know, know.
Detective.
Peter Grant
"Can't Get Enough", Good Lovin' Gone Bad", "Rock Steady" all bangers.
Free and then Bad Company, Paul Rodgers recorded some fantastic music
Don't forget The Firm! Remember "Radioactive?"
Paul’s solo album is fire too! He played all the instruments!
Love watching the kids react to great old music.
They certainly made a great band title song. Others I'd recommend - Ready for Love, Rock n' Roll Fantasy, Good Lovin' Gone Bad, Rock Steady.
"Lonely for You Love" because of the vocals, love that "rasp". lol
Good Lovin Gone Bad
Seagull
Simple man, underrated song off running with the pack album, really shows Paul Rogers vocal capabilities. Also the way I choose is a phenomenal song, both highly recommended.
This is what you call Rock and Roll
I'm with Sam on this song! I've always thought of it as hard rock. What blows my mind is that this is a British band that formed in London. This song, and many others have a flavor of American Wild West Civil War era deserters/bandits.
That voice gives me goosebumps,I loved this band from the first time I heard them😊
You can't go wrong with Bad Company. Ever.
BAD COMPANY - " RUN WITH THE PACK " 🎸🎶 Another 70s Rock Classic.
Bad Company " Young Blood" . You two will love it. !!
🎶 Good Lovin' Gone Bad 🎶 Paul Rodgers from the second Bad Company album "Straight Shooter"
The most American sounding British rock band ever.
Bad Company is my favorite Super Group =) Their really a "Rock & Roll Fantasy" ! Thanks Y'all
Silver , blue and gold, you like that one
Great ballad
Popular tune for ROCK radio I grew up to this song at least 3 times a day in the 70s-80s.
First album released by the record company Led Zepplin started.
Swan Song
From "Free" to "Bad Company" Paul Rogers is an amazing vocalist bar none. And Greetings from Seattle!
“Can’t Get Enough” off the same album is a banger. Hugely popular in the US.
Movin' On is a good rocker too..
I saw them in 77 they played this song. Phenomenal live band back.then
Great tune guys, love it. I suggest 'Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy' next please. Similar subject but different than 'Shooting Star', one of my favorites for sure. Cheers.
Silver, blue & Gold is another great song
Bad Co, on the album Bad Co, singing "Bad Co", worth the redundancy.
Bad Company is Bad❤ Happy to hear this one today!
This is their first album, and listeners didn't have anything to compare it to until their second album Stright Shooter came out. Bad Co. first album didn't have a bad song on it and I couldn't wait until their second.
Such a great album , Paul has such a fantastic voice supported by a great band.
Another plug for Seagull.
Bad Company is just so damn good!
Nice reaction. One of my favorite deeper cuts from this album is "The Way I Choose". Check out "Seagull" for a little softer side of the group.
I like how you two break down the song, great reaction keep up the good work
This song was written by Paul Rodgers and Simon kirke -Drums (Both were from the previous band "FREE"). Other masterpiece songs from this album are "Can't Get Enough" , "Movin' On", "Rock Steady", "Ready For Love".To mentioned the songs that are countless hits are "Good Lovin' Gone Bad", "Live For The Music", "Burnin' Sky", "Rock' n' Roll Fantasy" and etc.
The song was my intro into Bad Co as a younger teenager. When I heard Simon Kirk playing the drums on this, I had to find out who the drummer was, and who the lead vocalist was then after that, of course Mick Ralphs on guitar and Boz Burrell on base, so dang good
I remember listening to this on my brother's headphones while I was babysitting my nieces so I wouldn't wake them! What a frickin awesome group!
Running with the Pack is a good one.
"Bad company" was my nickname in my youth; He was the happy and dark friend of the square. Good friends! great band you chose; that first full album is a gem. Greetings from Guanaqueros; Chile.
Fun fact: Bad Company was the first band signed to Led Zeppelin's Swan Song record label.
Second 😂I freaking love this song. Such a banger as Phil would say 😂 Great reaction as usual guys and Peace out ✌️ ☮️
When you consider the time when Bad Co. formed and produced this amazing and iconic album was around 50 years ago, it's still incredible today. Massive shout out to Paul Rodgers, one of the finest rock voices we ever produced here in the UK. 🙋♂
Got this Album back in 74! It still rocks
saw them in San Antonio about 77 or so, great show, thank you
15 when show happened unfortunately unfortunately in michigan with parents went San Antonio that year but winter
@@williamreiser3118 I was fresh out of Basic and waiting to go to my next duty station... :)
Burning Sky
Fantasy
Bad Co. is a band that Led Zeppelin took under their wings. Great band !
Great, great band. Paul Rodgers is very great vocalist, and compositeur
I think I see what Sam is saying about the Bluesie kind of sound when it's slowed down and then jumps to a rock thing when it speeds up. Grew up with this song in Hawaii. Always loved it and brings me back to slower and relaxing days.
Paul is singing and playing piano. Paul was offered the vocalist spot of Deep Purple at one time and he sang with Queen a couple years too
The great vocals of Paul Rodgers (also of "Free") "All Right Now." One of the top Classic Rock eras (1960s and 70s) Bands. It sounds like the music to a gunfight scene in a Western cowboy movie.
Hey Phil 🎉. SILVER, BLUE AND GOLD is one of their best songs! 🎉🎉🎉 You guys will love it ❤❤❤❤
Running with the pack.
My second fav rock vocalist ever! Right after Layne Staley!❤❤❤
The Eagles were doing 'Wild West' motif rock in the 70s as well in Outlaw Man & the slow, sad Desperado.
Love Bad Company and this is my favorite by them
From the same album, “ Can’t Get Enough” and “ Rock Steady”! Oh yeah you can just imagine “ Bad Company” being played in a Western movie as the hero gunslinger rides in to take care of the bad guys who run the town. They should have used this song in “ Tombstone” or “ Unforgiven” and I can’t believe that no film producer has ever thought of it being appropriate for any film of any genre where a big confrontation needs resolving!! Paul Rodgers. Legend.
No doubt that'd be really cool
Bad Company
Fee Like Making Love
Shooting Star
Can't Get Enough
Rock Steady
The sky is burning is a great song!
Excellent funk!
Taking me back to high school in the early seventies right here.
Jr high 75 rest 70's Highschool didn't like my school or classmates but loved my rock and roll Rest of my school was into that disco.I wasn't so I was an outcast. That's okay.Don't bother me a bit and the opinions of my classmates.Don't matter to me At all my life was better without them but not without my rock and roll
@@williamreiser3118 going into my junior year summer of '74 when this came out. Proudly wore my "Disco Sucks! T-shirt back then.
my number 4 band of all time.they got soooo much good stuff.never hear enough said about em.had a ton of radio hits but should dig deeper.(deal with the preacher, wildfire woman, live for the music, too bad, everything i need, sweet lil sister, etc.)
First! Great song and band!
This song is beyond fire I suggested this song to you months ago, thanks for reacting on it 🎸🎶
Paul Rodgers, leading another great band after Free ran its course, with their signature song. Great in studio. It took on a life of its own live, with Paul on piano and/or Mick Ralph's on stinging lead guitar. One of the best songs in my life, forever a Bad Co fan. For another live thrill from them, do Ready for Love, live at the Hard Rock back about 15-20 years ago, the jam at the end of that song gives me chills and is them in Rock Godz mode. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶
Back in the day we had a softball league for our company which was a large company and I got to name our team and named it Bad Company after this band and song.
This song gives me ccr vibes. Everytime I hear it makes me think of them
The Group Bad Company has always been an Awesome band to listen to, me from the '80's till now. Great songs and albums!!!! Rock On Bad Company !!!!!🤘🤟
The bass, piano, and drums really make this song, along with the vocal lines, of course. As for "rock v blues" ... I really don't know the difference I consider rock to be like a higher category or box that accepts inputs from a variety of sources, including blues, gospel, classical, folk, country, Latin, reggae, and whatever else there is. I find that often the best rock songs combine two or more of these inputs. In this case, I think they were attempting to combine blues with a vaguely western saloon piano, and then adding the electric guitar and bass, plus drums, making it more of a rock song. As I say, I'm not really sure where the boundaries are on these things. Apparently Dylan was folk when he played acoustic, and rock when he played electric guitar. 🤷♂
Thank you for reaction! Just smooth. 'Seagull' from this album is a great piece for his voice as well.
This one will always be my favorite. That intro alone is mesmerizing.
And to know the vocals and keys were recorded at night in a moon lit field, makes it even more mesmerizing.
Thanks for the reaction, great song. There was a time in the '70s when Bad Company was the absolute hottest band in the US on college campuses (and in Canada, too, I'm sure). Pure, simple, less-produced, 'back to basics' bluesy, soulful rock. If you want a fun, relaxed, change of pace (but still Bad Co at its core), try 'Call On Me' from their 2nd album 'Straight Shooter'.
I saw Bad Co live in Germany in the 70`s while I was stationed there in the Army , also have the vinyl album .
If you like the bluesy sounds of Bad Company, you may like to check out vocalist Paul Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirke's previous band, called Free. It sounds like you're going to react to All Right Now, but you really need to react to Free's song, "Mr Big." It's a tour de force.
LIVE FOR THE MUSIC 🎶!!!
I saw their Burning Sky tour the one after this one live back in the day in St. Petersburg, Fla.😁😎
I've been listening to this song since it came out and this is the first time I have heard someone say it sounds like blues. Not saying that you're wrong, we just always thought of this as rock. And this is coming from someone from Chicago who saw all the blues legends of the time. Muddy Waters, twice, Johnny Winter, SRV, Koko Taylor, Willy Dixon, Buddy Guy four times, Taj Mahal, and that's a partial list.
I love this group from the very beginning.Man, as soon as I heard Paul's voice.Wow, it inspired me to sing later on.I became a four active range graduate grand rapids community college singer
🔥🔥🔥 great rock voice and I love watching him play the piano ❤
Just saw them recently. Paul still sounds and looks amazing
Speaking of Paul Rogers,I see you also reacted to Free Alright Now which also has him singing. Not sure if you guys were aware he was in that group.
Great band. you guys need to check out the song Seagull on this album. fantastic.
I know in some previous interviews, Rogers had stated something to the effect that he had been influenced to write the lyrics after reading about some highwaymen. To me, it fits and parallels greatly the lives of Frank and Jesse James, from their running with Quantrill and then terrorizing towns after the war.
The live version of this song, when they are much older, is, to me (And I really can’t believe I’m saying This!) Even better!
Always liked the voice of Paul Rogers from Free to Bad Company !!
I’d pay to watch Paul sing the phone book. They wrote this song thinking of the old spaghetti westerns. This song is so much better live with Paul on the piano.
One of the Greatest Iconic Debut Rock Albums.
Running with the Pack is another album with no bad songs. All songs on Running With the Pack are superb. For a start try Youngblood. Honey Pie. Sober Blue and Gold.. Just for starters
Need to check out "Shooting Star" by Bad Company. Cause it's all part of my rock and roll fantasy.
Paul Rodgers recorded this vocal in a field at midnight behind the Famous Hedley Grange Estate that Led Zeppelin also used for recording.
Appreciate the thoughtful reaction! No question first two albums are fire start to finish, you've only scratched the surface. I suggest Good Lovin' Gone Bad next, then Can't Get Enough and Movin' On. Later favorites are Burnin' Sky and Gone, Gone, Gone.
My favorite from Bad Company!
Paul Rogers was part of an 80s supergroup along with Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), Tony Franklin and Cris Slade (Uriah Heap).
Check out Satisfaction Guaranteed, All The Kings Horses or Radioactive. 👍
Ready for Love
I like when any band invests some effort in that 'western' sound. While ZZ Top could be the epitome with number of songs bearing that style, others have dabbled. The Eagles for certain with the stand out - Desperado, which also happens to be the name of another western styled song by Alice Cooper from the Killer album.
5 finger death punch has a fantastic cover of this song. Defiantly worth a listen.
Pauls voice made it a diff rock sounding band❤️🤘
Silver blue and gold is great
Paul Roger’s fronted Queen for a short time years ago after Freddie’s death. There is some memorable footage of that combo. Check it out.
paul rodgers cut loose album in the 80s was a great start to finish album.he sang n played evey instrument on it.thats why he never toured that album...
This Americana Rock and Roll
Great group.
"You see those two men out there? Tied-down guns? Come out of a war, no other way to make a livin'..." - 'The Outlaw Josey Wales'
