Dragon Ball Z Kakarot has the best video game writing for 2020 just out of the sheer fact that it's taking the story from an '80s anime. Incredible.

Dude I swear I've been saying this for years. BT3 is the best DBZ game ever hands down, everybody and their mom played that one, and if you ask your friends what other DBZ game they've played they are probably all gonna say none. Why don't they just remake that game? So many people have been quietly wanting that for years, no idea what they are doing with these.

To be honest, that was the weakest delivery of Kaioken Times Foooooour in all games and anime versions. Don't get me wrong. I love Sean's screams and emotions. But here it was dead.

As I'm hyped for this game, I'm really curious to know why CC2 didn't add QTE to this game. That was a huge part of what made the Storm games and Asura's Wrath SOOO GOOD. The interactive part of it gave you the actual feel of the game. This is why I wanted CC2 to make a DB game for so many years.

Yep, just like Ultimate etc. I have to wonder if they didn’t add it because they wanted to keep the gameplay very fast like the show for the gamer. To add QTE for what they wanted of course would’ve slowed it down. My thing is, you didn’t have to make it for the gameplay all the way through like the Naruto games but at least for the legendary cutscenes. Like the power struggle of the Kaioken Kamehahmeha and Galicia Gun. That would’ve been so boss, 🤦♂️

This gameplay of the fight is the best I've seen that shows off what to expect 😮💯 Permanent Destruction and beam struggle 🔥🔥🔥 I can't wait for Xenoverse 3 to be this(open world fights and roaming, permanent destruction,beam struggles and boss fights like this) but with our CaC and online like Xenoverse 2 💯🔥🔥🔥

@@enumaelish9193 cause they said beam struggles are hard to do, especially player against player, so imagine trying online with netcode issues 💀💯 and I'm pretty sure all the devs and Dimps have been hearing the feedback and this is to hold us over for Xenoverse 3 so why not use this as a testing ground since it's close to Xenoverse almost

Actualy the great ape gohan scene was taken from the manga ,it's only in the anime that great ape gohan fight vegeta for a moment.
Vegeta was able to use the remote hidden in his armor despite being crushed by Gohan 🙃

The Devs that made it made the Naruto ultimate ninja storm series made this and they always ad re-playable missions in every game. it's reasonable to believe they will here too.

I was able to beat Vegeta first try, but I was so low on health. On a thousand even, but I leveled up after that, so I was able to get all my health back. I can’t imagine how bad the Great Ape Vegeta fight would be if I was still on a thousand health.

I like how as the series progressed Vegeta's ki went from purple (a malicious color of ki) to white (the ki of good users).
Aura Color never really had much consistency other than sort of with forms. Namekians often had purple as well, and Vegeta had blue quite often even while he was still a dick on Namek.

I am going to play this because it's Dragon ball but that's the only selling point in my opinion. Games like these never go the extra step of actually making the combat good, any so called action game with only one attack button gets boring fast and this game will be no different.

I just did this boss fight today, I died around 3-4 times, as did my girlfriend. I felt like I didn't know how to play the game at all, which ironically was probably what Goku felt on some level. I was so fucking pumped when I beat him, and it made me want to get stronger so I wouldn't be caught so flatfooted.

1:59 so apparently this is the Super God Fist attack from Xenoverse, it comes from Saiyan Saga, i though its from Beerus Saga since thats where i found the skill to be unlocked from.
Funny that in the end Goku happens to be the one with the talent while Vegeta has to do the hard work to keep up with Goku.
Goku is not really talented, just obsessed. They do call him a genius several times, but Goku has been doing the same thing obsessively his entire life, of course he'd be good at it. Vegeta is talented, but as he learned, talent is just an initial boost, not a certainty of success. He became extremely obsessed with becoming a Super Saiyan and surpassing Goku later, and now they are roughly equal.
