They just need to add a couple more maps for Africa, imo
Fernando is underrated. It's one of the best map for bow hunters. Dense bushes and mountain areas doesn't involve bustle and running around. Only peace and quiet.
I so agree on this, I used to think I was the only one, it really is a top tier archery map
I think a lot of these maps (especially rancho) got ruined by the population redistributions tbh
The Layton map became boring after deleted elk from southwest
“Tar hunts are unlike any other” yet all the tar hunts you do is jumping from tent to tent and taking a step out of them ☠️
Obviously, you haven't tried the Tahr since the patch, that are by far the hardest G1 now!

I think cuatro colinas is the best beginner map for new players. Its got a charm to it. Otherwise I think this list is good.

The craziest thing happened on my Te Awaroa. I had not one, not 2, but 3 diamond feral goats at the same lake. Unfortunately I shot the 1st one with the M1 as I kept thinking they were class 4, but the other 2 did make diamond (the 1st did but as I said I botched it).

I’m so glad I watched this, I bought a pack a while ago with Revontuli on it and I never played it because I thought it was only birds, kinda embarrassing that I had an s tier map and never even thought to play it
It's very sad that Fernando is losing all his animals to other maps, and today its only exclusive is not at all attractive as the other animals were... EW visionary
I used to like Parque when I first played it. But after going through enough of the missions to unlock the Rangemaster and Gaucho Magnum, I got pretty tired of it. In 2022 I might have placed it in the B tier but now I'd put it in D for sure.
Ok my ranking, and I don’t think any map is bad. Layton and hirsh and still good imo

I understand that mostly Americans think of layton as a great or supreme map but honestly it's as bad as hirshfelden or even worse, huge thick brushes enormys lakes you wahve to walk around to claim the trophy and only 2 uniqe animals.
It's not bad but defginitly not as good as ppl say
Personally I love Hersh and it's my favourite bow hunting map, but I agree Layton is awful and probably my least favourite map. Hate the landscape with all the water and long reeds, lakes are too big and a pain to hunt and don't care for any of the species on there.
It's strange that after all these years of playing, you consider changes to the maps that lead to slightly higher difficulty to be bad... I actually prefer a bigger challenge, and I haven't even played nearly as much as you have.
I think that your list is very good and I agree with almost all of it but I have always thought that New England is underrated , love your videos and thank you for uploading so consistently
Anyone here who isn't Crow play the game long enough to remember when EW would occasionally add new animals to existing maps (you know, like when Gemsbok and Lions got added)? I can think of stuff that could be added to all the maps (really want feral Camels in Australia myself), but am I right to assume we can all agree EW should add some new animals to New England Mountains? I doubt it'll become a high tier map if they do but at least it'll get some relevance

@@Rexlam-kn7dj I know. And I don't care. I was talking about adding new species. I'm pretty sure more people care about new animals to make NEM relevant over adjusting some animals you could already hunt on other maps
@@zachjohnson9391 what more animals could you add? badgers or something? even if they dont add new animals, they could make hunting for certain animals better than hunting for them in different maps.

I’d put sunderpatten in c tier. I’m not a big fan of it. Whenever I hunt that map I feel like I’m in a greener herschfelden
Devs should make extra areas that expand the maps, these areas will cost game money (makes all the grinding worth it) in these new areas they could add new species. E.g expansion for savanna would have elephants, zebras, baboons even hippos (very dangerous)
This way we will have reasons to buy maps.. Just a thought 🤷♂️
Spots is the piebald moose that you left on it for a while if I am not mistaken and you got to bring back the white tail grind of rancho.

hunting the fields in the morning has bumped Hirsch up my personal tier list to about a C+, you should try it! I always find some nice Roe/Red deer and Bison trophies.
Honestly I completely agree with most of this list and I think Yukon is one of the most painful maps in the game for me because its so close to being perfect (If they did a Northern Canada map right I think it would be my favorite) Honestly I do think New England is kinda underrated because its so fun to go in the fields and call things in and shoot them. Im not a grinder so I don't think I appreciate Te Awaroa as much as most people but its definitely not as bad as some people say I think with tahr hopefully itll be an A tier. But since I like big game animals like class 6-9 I think sundarpatan is my favorite rn. Overall good list and cool video.

Emerald Coast is better than all maps in my opinion. Has more biomes, unique animals and best map to grind on from the beach and grassland desert. Not to mention that Kangaroos are great $$$

Vurhonga species are defenitely the most commonly hunted animals in africa, the perception is very skewed, almost no people from africa actually hunts elephants and leopards
Tigers aren't hunted either.. (other than poaching)
Te Aworoa is top 3 for me cuss I just got a piebald super rare diamond red deer on it

Not a fan of sunderpatan from my pov they were acting like tigers would be everywhere but they are extremely rare which I don’t enjoy walking for 30 min to kill a single tiger when I can kill 75 Deer an hour on rev

I actually disagree, it isn't too horrible.
Hirsh is one of my favourite maps, probably cause it's so similar to where I live and I really enjoy the landscape and species on there. Plus it's great fun for bow hunting!
