- Nitya Jayaram-Lindström dissertated 2007 on amphetamine dependence. Her dissertation was chosen to be the best dissertation of the year at Karolinska Institutet 2007. In the film she speaks about her research and about her studies in India, Chicago and at Karolinska Institutet.
Today, Nitya works as a post-doc at Karolinska Institutet and her research is related to developing novel psychopharmacological treatments for amphetamine and alcohol dependence. She has also started to do brain imaging experiments.
