The waters off the coast of Sri Lanka are home to a vast variety of marine life. One resident is the green turtle, an endangered species of sea turtle. Born on these shores, it migrates vast distances - but it always returns to the same beach. Green turtles begin their often long lives with a risky journey from beach to ocean. But just how do they manage to find their way home again, even from thousands of kilometers away? The answer might surprise you…

Props to the team for waiting out the hatchlings. I've had the pleasure of watching sea turtles emerge from the sand. It takes them so much effort to get out of the sand so they stop and take little breaks. I was there for hours. Also, the lights from the cities and streets confuse the little turtles and causes them to head toward traffic instead of the ocean, another cause from human interference 💔

"They know the intensity, slope and whatnot of the magnetic field"
They just do? Magically? No specialize organ/tissue, no experiments done to prove it, no mention of who discovered it, of when it was discovered, just no explanation at all? Six full minutes of video for absolutely no information? Come on. At the VERY least cite your sources in the description. Seriously. Anyone can come up with a barebones explanation and slap it on top of footage without ever having to dig any deeper.
