You showed great gumption you ought to be very proud of yourself - No back-up Support Crew, No gimmicky Advertising/Promo's, No Sponsorship and No Film Crew or Companion, truly an adventure and accomplishment; I just had to watch the Africa Series back to back :)

This has been the best motorcycle trip to follow on CZcams. The fact it was done on a 250cc Honda makes it even more special. Fantastic effort. Coming back down to UK reality is gonna be a very bumpy landing lol but looking forward to follow up vids. Well Done. 👍

wow, congratulations on an incredible achievement, very few people have done this....and you're so young. A solo trip through Africa, amazing. Besides your accident, and some corruption at the border, it didn't seem like there was too much drama. No major mechanical issues or theft, and that honda seemed like a perfect choice. Thanks for sharing your journey.

have the balls to do it now. I am 36. just re-building a 125 varadero ( carb model) and am off to spain in spring. leaving the wife and 3 kids for 6 weeks. they dont like it... ive had to work 3 jobs since mid 2017 to pay for this... DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!

Great adventure and achievement! Adventure motorcycling is like a drug. If you're hooked, all you think about is where you're getting your next hit from. Difficult to get a bigger high than Africa though. Well done Harvey, it's been great viewing.

I really enjoyed the videos, thanks. I was surprised at things you didn't take, how short the distance the chain & sprockets lasted for. I rode the other side of Africa in mid 90s, on a XT600, reckon smaller bikes are the way to go.

Did you throw anything away of what you brought, that turned out to be redundant? Spares or kit?

I have couple of questions and a request. How did you secure your luggage/bike? Especially when you were out n about away from the bike like hiking and n such?
Did you depend solely on paper maps or did you use a GPS? and where did you get those off road routes from?
As for the request, would you please make a video on your food and supplies solution? Like how were you living your day to day when it comes to food, water and showers etc...
