Mr. Nakamura, my sixth grade teacher in SoCal, had a Hawaiian play at the end of every school year. He had been doing it for at least ten years before I took part. The "bigger" dudes in class were made the Kings of the different islands. I had two parts---one was the "King of Molokai," and the other was when I blew through my cupped hands to blow a "conch" shell call. We did the "Hawaiian War Chant" with the bamboo in synchronized rhythm on the wood stage floor. He was a very influential man, cool dude. Cheers.

I Used to dance long before like more than 20 years ago in Hawaii these chants reminds me of the past wonderful days I spent in Hawaii 😉
