- I went solo backpacking around Central America for 6 weeks, travelling through Mexico, Belize and Guatemala.
This 3 part documentary series shows the entire backpacking experience.
From the fun activities, beautiful sites, crazy parties, to the exhausting journeys and the good, bad and ugly hostels.
In this first video I fly into Cancun, Mexico, then made my way to Tulum to check out the cenotes. After this I chilled out at the beautiful Lake Bacalar before crossing the border into Belize.
Caye Caulker island was a great place to chill and party, as well as do some incredible snorkelling. From here I took a 3 day island-hopping boat tour with Ragamuffin tours along the Belize Barrier Reef.

Couple of questions that have been coming up, 1: the 3 day tour cost $400 and was with raggamuffintours.com, pricey but worth it!
2: The audio, sometimes its distorted/crackling, this is because it was windy AF down the coast!
Getting a new bad ass mic this christmas so hopefully it'll handle the wind better. In case you're interested, was using Rode Go mic on this trip, gonna get Rode Video Mic Pro +.

I have literally had tears in my eyes watching this. There are two reasons for that.
First - me and my girlfriend, we have been following your trips for at least 4 ages. Your HK2NY inspired us so bad that we decided to do trip like that. On September we got back home from 9 months of traveling around the world.
Second - we were in Central America in the same time as you. My girlfriend even contacted you and we were so close to get together but we eventually missed each other. However we did 90% of your route. In Belize we stayed in front of your hostel, we ate lobster in the same bar and even we had the same guide in Tikal. Your video brings so much memories so thank you that you are doing that

During what months did you visit these countries?
Gita Copier I know that you didn’t ask me, but he traveled to Mexico at the end of July and went through Belize and Guatemala the first weeks of August if I’m not mistaken. I saw that info in one of his Instagram stories, but I completely forgot the exact dates.
Exactly it was from the end of June and whole July :)

Alex Fedoruk he was working during the summer which is one of the reasons I did this route, because he did it before when I met up with him on Backpackers of the Caribbean trip.
He’s currently having a holiday in Colombia, will be back Monday and we’ll have a catch up and see when our next trip together will be
