I play it sometimes for rapid development, black walks a very narrow path but it's fun

hmmm! I think I might like to try this! I do OK already with the Nf6 marshall variation, but c6 looks like an accelerated scandinavian gambit, and I love gambits! The 2.e5 and 4.d4 positional variations of the scandinavian drive me nuts! I want maximum pressure and mobility and will sac a minor piece to get rid of a pair of paws if I see an attack. I STARTED out with the Qxd5 variation which is STUPID in my eyes as it invites white to keep developing while chasing the queen! that's the OPPOSITE of what I want! I was told about the marshall years ago and have played nothing but that except for a couple weeks of latvian gambit which is horrible and play e5 once in a very great while when I've had too many positional nightmares. THIS line might be just right for me! I've wanted to switch to the rousseau gambit, but it's super hard to study because move orders trip me up really bad, whereas this line is already somewhat familiar. I used to want to play nothing BUT the scandinavian gambit... this might be my way to do just that.
Thanks for sharing this potential surprise weapon. it has REALLY good stats too i see, if a really funny sounding name.

He could play rook c7 to c1 and would be winning
