I live in Basel, just some miles away from Germany. Our Bishop told the Media about two weeks ago (after a big scandle in the media about abuse of children by priests up to 70 years ago),, that he thinks, time is ripe for women to become priests. I was shocked. Thanks God, we have still some very good young priests. They mainly come from India and Africa.

Three and one half years ago I believe I received a message from Our Lord while in extended adoration of the Blessed Sacrament here in Beeville, Texas. At that moment of personal distress I heard the 'little voice' through, with and in my heart. These were the words. 'Ride it out with Love, Joy and Peace.' Then there was a pause, and what came to mind was a particularly harrowing rollercoaster ride about 13 years ago that through deep prayer I had gutted out (prior to finding out I had contracted Ménière's disease ). Then I 'heard' in my heart, the words, 'I got the com.' [HE is in command] Back on March 27, 2019 at 6 am those words were meant for me and my family. I soon realized that they were also meant for our nation, and then the world and now Holy Mother Church. THE PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS is the operations order for this final? ride. Become Channels of HIS Peace Hatred ---> Love Sadness ---> Joy I took Francis as my confirmation name back in 1972. I soon fell away. Lady Poverty is a good friend. She is a good sister too. Our Lord is at the helm of His Barque, and there is nothing to fear. We must stand for Truth in all humility. Our Lady witnessed this her whole virginal life and especially at Calvary. Let us also pray for the Universal Church around the world so they too will not fall into schism as well so as to not confuse the faithful that love Our Lord and what the Church teaches.

Fr. Mark, I liked what you said about how when the gospel is properly lived it is attractive. St. Francis message showed others that we must decrease and He must increase as found in the Holy Scriptures. The call to follow Jesus is a radical one. Radical transformation happens when we set our eyes on Him, the author and perfector of our faith. We set our gaze straight ahead, rather than looking to the right or the left. St Francis was attractive because he was showing others by example, how to be the Church! He definitely did not try to blend in with the Church culture, when doing this a religous spirit ensues and this in turn leaves little room for the Holy Spirit to work. Holy Spirit come, set our hearts on fire for you!
@Fr.Mark Goring I like to imagine that when Mary and Joseph arrived in Bethlehem it was day time. They registered for the census as they came in. Both Joseph and Mary were registered. They didn't count unborn children back then. Mary and Joseph went to two different relatives home. However, the homes were already filled, but they stopped in to say hello and dine with them. Perhaps Mary telling them of Elizabeth having a son in her old age. Mary noticed that it was getting late, and told Joseph they better leave. One of the members of their family said to try the relative at the end of Bethlehem. When they got there, the woman said there was no room any more. She proceeded to tell them, if you don't mind sleeping in the manger at the other end, you can. She told them she had had her son clean it knowing he wouldn't be able to go there daily, because she needed help with the guests. She showed them the way, and there is where our savoir is born.

St. Francis message showed others that we must decrease and He must increase as found in the Holy Scriptures. The call to follow Jesus is a radical one. Radical transformation happens when we set our eyes on Him, the author and perfector of our faith. We set our gaze straight ahead, rather than looking to the right or the left. St Francis was attractive because he was showing others by example, how to be the Church! He definitely did not try to blend in with the Church culture, when doing this a religous spirit ensues and this in turn leaves little room for the Holy Spirit to work. Holy Spirit come, set our hearts on fire for you!

I like to imagine that when Mary and Joseph arrived in Bethlehem it was day time. They registered for the census as they came in.
Both Joseph and Mary were registered.
They didn't count unborn children back then.
Mary and Joseph went to two different relatives home.
However, the homes were already filled, but they stopped in to say hello and dine with them.
Perhaps Mary telling them of Elizabeth having a son in her old age.
Mary noticed that it was getting late, and told Joseph they better leave.
One of the members of their family said to try the relative at the end of Bethlehem.
When they got there, the woman said there was no room any more.
She proceeded to tell them, if you don't mind sleeping in the manger at the other end, you can.
She told them she had had her son clean it knowing he wouldn't be able to go there daily, because she needed help with the guests.
She showed them the way, and there is where our savoir is born.
