Who or what a individual or society accepts as the foundation for truth and the basis of authority is the bigger issue that still impacts us today.

We also need to remember that in the near future, the issues that controlled the French Revolution will raise its ugly head again, but on a world wide scale. When God and his word are rejected we face the same challenges like France faced after making that decision. Atheism and all strange beliefs can never prosper. Only when Christ the Divine Son of God is lifted up, thats when he will draw all men unto him. Praise God for his Mercy and Grace to the Human Race.
