Im 2 months late, but sctually they do know about us, and have a fourth wall break, idk the exact name of the scp, but its one of the scp's 001 and its on this channel, is the scp about the wiki page, they know they are a fictional creation, and they know we are readers, the O5 council are the only ones with this information, and they are not very interested in us, but into the authors, they wanna replace them so they can write and edit they own multiverse, still readers are powerful as a group, as, when a fact is not detailed in a wiki article, the most thinked possibilitt the readers have becomes the truth
since we "get access" to all of the information in the videos I often wondered what level of clearence we would need to do the same if we worked for the foundtation. But the angle of us being an anomaly was a pretty nice twist on the whole thing.

so I think the way this works canonically is that we know there is more than one SCP 3393- each of us would be counted as one. They however managed to find an instance of SCP 3393 in an actual SCP facility, so somebody did get trapped by watching this video, but there are far more of us who will continue to keep poking around

I guess unfortunately, one of the assumptions was wrong. Specifically, the one that the anomaly is on location in that site. If the anomaly is meant to be the reader/listener, then they would be remotely accessing the information, and tracking down where they live to contain them would be the route to go. I suppose they might realize their error though when their files keep getting accessed even though the room they sealed off doesn't have internet anymore.
Edit: An additional thought after sleeping. Containing such an anomaly might violate the general tenants of Secure, Contain, Protect. As long as the anomaly is within the site in general, it is contained. But if you lock a person who is anti-memetic in a room, you run the risk of forgetting that it's a person in there, and then you end up killing them due to lack of food and water.

Well, it seems that we aren't SCP 3393, since the foundation can see where/when someone accessed a computer in this site the SCP is in. This could be a malfunction but it the former theory is solidified by the fact that the anomaly changed their profile in a specific manner.

Well, I've thought how the SCP Lore is such a mess of contradictions and SCPs that should not exist at the same time. All because they should clash but don't (like the Star Eater, The Sun's Sister, and the Sun it self should have had a major clash). Meanwhile, any attempt to make the lore make sense end up causing an XK-Class Reality Restructuring Event. Thus what if. We REALLY are an SCP and the Foundation is REALLY real. That the Foundation is "freely" telling us everything. All to make us THINK we are so clever but in truth, we are truly stuck in an endless cycle of being "Normal" but in truth. We aren't normal. Results of Bait the Hook were unsuccessful.
Given that the Anomaly in question managed to deface several doors thereafter with a crude phallic symbol, and then apparently do the same to several other sites, reclassification Keter has been set in place.
Results of attempts to use cognitohazards to defeat the anomaly have been unsuccessful. Additionally, the Anomaly has now gained a different access, Level Seven.
This is greatly worrying.
