It's amazing ma'am, and I truly agree that self-learning and learning through guidance have different experiences. If you are really passionate about anything, you will never go back to invest to learn from a mentor. , and you can always add Self-learning to it. definitely, the results will be amazing when you combine Learning from a Mentor and self-learning.

Recreation done.. I think both are required.. sometimes when we get things readymade we take it for granted and don't value it that much.. but when work hard for it we never take it easy..s we surely need guided teaching for learning things in a much better way than what we know

a hand holding is must if looking for early growth... but even after self practice and building your own skill and own strategies according to your brain pattern is also important... so for me both is equally important

Recreation done 👍 I always done dot mandala by myself now mam you are here to guide us on dot mandala. I made many mistakes in self learning like I never draw a circle and took measurements.I was doing directly with colors and after watching your videos I learned many techniques and designs of mandalas. That's the difference in self learning and guided learning.

Very true mam! Systematic training is really essential! Unfortunately I couldn’t get one for my mandala journey! But I am indeed proud of the fact that I learnt on my own! May be it will another few years to master it completely but I am always open to systematic learning! Whenever I get a chance I would love to learn! 😇🥰♥️

Even I was struggling with brushstrokes as it was attractive looking at brushstrokes of different artists on insta n CZcams but after attending mam's brushstrokes class I am proud of myself 😊❤

Yes i also wanted to learn cooking but already amma and grandma were there so before marriage i just helped in side work occasionally.but when i got married I learned cooking through cookery books . As you said receipe is written in the book. But the small small things like roasting the spices till you smell the aroma kind of edn i learned by practice only . For example i tried to make chole bhature but mine always always turned out crisp insted of that softtexture. So once i was walking with group of friendsone of them told the bhatura dough is throughly kneaded for at least 20 minutes to get soft fluffy bhaturas. When i tried it next time it worked. But in baking i did self Learning only and always my cakes are soft and moist. Both ways self learning as well as learning from a guru both works good for me.

After my marriage...I too learned cooking from my mother in law ...who is very good cook...and strict too... which...gave me good experience...in cooking especially...side works...i do too... before cooking...as u do...😊
I am very great ful to her...but she is...no more unfortunately....
And ...My mother being teacher...as...she has...no time...to teach us.. cooking...but v three sisters got her skills as teacher...v became teachers too...
Self learning...even i did . In..learning...blouse stitching...before that i have taken classes for dress stitching...only...thru that knowledge ...I self learned stitching blouses from youtube ..whuch is helpful... for me...

Both are vital, it's all about checks and balances,we correct our mistakes we may have taught ourselves on our own,once we have a mentor, and systematic guidance Beautiful art ,great message!Patience is key!🪷👏

As a self-learner, I sometimes encounter difficulties in my work. How can I determine the distance between circles and measure angles to create a perfect design? Additionally, how do I adjust paint consistency for different patterns?
Not sometimes, most of the times we have to go through difficulties. Join my next batch starting 28th June

Day 25 begins
No mam, we need to learn the basics first for the mandala, that's true.
May be 3-4 months for you.
I am pausing the video again and want to tell you something that you learned yourself and you have come across the mistakes yourself but as when we learn from the mentor or somebody else they also dont teach us everything that i happened with me in dot mandala and when i learned calligraphy by myself that was awesome learning because in today's time some like 10% people only teach us everything properly please dont take on yourself its just my opinion. Nobody tells us systematically.
And that's even good that you did yourself and you are teaching the way that nobody should feel what you felt while learning from ourselves. And even systematic guidance is very important i too do that.
According to my experience a mentor is always required as i will give one small example, we go to school because the teacher will only teach us everything. So, like that only a mentor is required but nowadays my experience regarding mentors is really bad, there are a lot of people I don't know what they are teaching. One day i will tell you everything in person since covid what all happened to me with the mentors and teaching.
That's really true love does for cooking. I have experienced it since my childhood.

At last i would like to say that both the learnings should be done as we get to know pros and cons of each and when we combine both the learnings its amazing as in self learning we will get to know about the difficulties and in mentor we will get to everything systemmatically. ❤❤❤
