I was a loyal SUBWAY lover, then after they started skimping on the meat, I'd use only coupons and then, only the BOGO free for any footlong (which made it a fair (not good)) value. When SUBWAY loses a customer like me, then they're truly destined to continue to slide down into bankruptcy.
Where I live, very few stores still accept those clipped coupons. My experience with the one store around where I live that does accept those coupons is that at least one employee (“sandwich artist”) will give you grief if you use them. Apparently subway corporate does not compensate the stores enough to go through the trouble of redeeming those coupons. They expect their franchisees to make all the sacrifices. It’s like expecting adult newspaper carriers who deliver hundreds of newspapers by car every morning to give customers free porch delivery.
i'm deathly afraid of visiting any subway in my area, mainly because of food spoilage and the ridiculous cost (one of their sammiches costs $20!!!). i walk past 2 of them daily, and there's nobody ever inside during lunch. what do they do with all that food that isnt sold during the day and kept out? do they throw it out or leave it there for days, weeks?
Without the coupon, it's a no sale for me. Literally the only time I go to subway is if I have a coupon. If they wont take it I'll walk and then they're stuck for 2 sandwiches and no money 😂 I win either way
I did that once when they 1st removed swiss cheese & sourdough bread from their available ingredients! That was one of the most absurd decisions they could have made. They also recently put up the cover for the 1st serving section where you can't see how they prepare the sandwiches where they add the meat & cheese selections. I occasionally feel the need to open up my sandwiches before eating them to count the slices of ham I know should be present in them.....
it never used to be this way. there would be lines for their $5 footlong. then they got mega greedy and started with tripling their prices. corporate countered that with coupons that nobody accepts. there's no way subway doesnt have mega volume discounts on their food materials. someone is lying and getting greedy.
I went to Subway today and after making the subs they refused to take the coupon so I said I do not want the subs. GOODBYE SUBWAY! Go out of business WAA WAA WAA!
@@CCJAN.5 Also Subway made 16 billion in profit last year. $13.54 for a 2 dollar sub. I could care less if they went out of business, the greedy bastards.
That's what they don't realize! New young employees don't seem to understand that the footlongs started out at $5.00 around 10 years ago & now their menu prices start at $9 to $10 if you have no coupons for footlongs. They do take the coupons where I live, but they also recently hiked the price on those too. I'm still use them but I was also being generous by giving tips that will now be lower because I've set a dollar limit for myself as to how much I'm willing to pay. I do occasionally order on-line too when I can get myself to get out early and immediately pick it up when I find a buy one get one free coupon code!
Has Subway restaurants ever accepted coupons. I've never found one that I didn't trick into it by ordering online because they didn't know the system allowed it and didn't know how to stop it.
I don't blame this store. You got to make money in order to stay in business. Restaurants are getting hit hard. I know this by just looking at my grocery bill. $100 doesn't buy you anything. I can't imagine how much it cost to make a sandwich after paying employees. It's crazy.
My research revealed that store owners do not get reimbursed from Subway corporate for those coupons. So why doesn't the manager or reporter simply state that! Knowing that I don't even want to use the coupons, why should the store owner be expected to subsidize my purchase? That's not right.
Subway is inferior to other Sandwich Shops. Blimpie blows them away with their Blimpie Best. The only thing I like there is their Meatballs. Their Ham has not been identified I don't know what it is. But it's not Ham as we know it. Their Sandwiches are all bread with very little meat. The Best Sandwich Shop is Jersey Mike's if you are lucky to have one near you., and they honor coupons. Subway has derailed and by doing this and serving sandwiches which they claim to be 6 inches but look like 2 White Castle OK maybe 3 WC in some cases are going to be history. Won't miss this train wreck. Unlike the NYC Subway System you won't find Rats, Even they have better taste.
@@KA-vs7nl They belong in The Subway with the rest of the varmints. Food not even fit for them. Skimpy on sandwiches. What they say is Ham is yet to be IDENTIFIED .
They need to stop mailing coupons all together because every subway I have went to doesn't except them like for instance not one subway in Brooklyn,Manhattan, or staten island ny takes one and long island ny not much luck there either.
Dear customers. Stop screaming at sandwich makers for the coupons. We did not personally mail them out we have no control over when corporate does this. No the prices aren’t personally decided by us and guess what you arguing that for 25 minutes in drive thru is only holding up the line you just complained about. Shut up leave us alone we are not god we are only human.

13.54 FOR A FOOTLONG NOW! NOT A MEAL. 20 DOLLAR FOOT LONG ISNT SO FAR OFF

Prices of turkey went up 20% ok but subway charging more than double price ? I used to pay $5 foot long now it’s 12

Lifelong ban from coupons for anyone who tries using them.
There sandwiches suck! At a discount they're wurf it. If I have to pay full price for dey crap I'll pass. Much better sandwiches at that price
