  • Here we are with another Real Video, the Real Review featuring the stylish 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 4MATIC and there is no doubt this is a good looking vehicle. As Mercedes primary Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV) offering in the U.S., the GLK provides a luxury level to a smaller, more urban sized vehicle. It is also differentiated by its more angular and boxy styling.
    However, the Mercedes also carries the known premium price tag and is missing some features that you will find on competing All-Wheel Drive (AWD) vehicles in the market such as the Infiniti FX, Land Rover Evoque, BMW X3 and Audi Q5. If you are price sensitive you might also look at the Ford Escape and Kia and Hyundai offerings where features are plentiful. But, nothing has quite the cache of the Mercedes-Benz and sometimes drive up appeal is what makes us happy.
    Join us as we discuss the current design, the excitement factor and day-to-day living with this well equipped Mercedes GLK350 4MATIC. Close to the $54K and equipped with the sports appearance package and cool tech features such as adaptive cruise control, this vehicle might just make your 'must-see' test-drive list.

    I have a 2015 GLK350, and I really LOVE the fact that the Merc uses knobs and buttons to operate things on the dash, not a touch screen! Touch screens require that you look, carefully, at the screen! That takes your eyes off the road, often for several seconds at a time! A LOT can happen in several seconds! I always say, it’s not the hands which must be free, so much, but the eyes, and the attention, and THAT has been completely ignored by the safety people.

    I have a GLK 350 , 2014, two wheel drive. When I drove this, I stuck my foot in it, and was stunned it had so much power. 302 real horse power. I am on the San Joaquin valley in California. It’s perfect for me. I am not a very big guy. There is plenty of room, but, just a tad bigger, like a Ford Escape would be nice. This is an awesome machine. I love this car. Seriously. If it had a couple of rockets in the grill, it would orgasmic to drive. I do not have the sunroof. I did not want it. Few things make people totally happy. My top three are my wife, my dog and me GLK 350.

    This particular car is very interesting for its options. Most have mb tex so to find this w leather is very rare. Adaptive cruise called distronic is not available in this car, at least not in the USA. It's actually a w204 c class and is the only way that Americans will buy a wagon. Good build quality compared to the previous models

    Started watching this review out of curiosity, but didn't finish. I own a 2013 Mercedes GLK 350 and there were so many inaccuracies in this review I couldn’t keep watching… First of all, the price I paid was no where close to what is stated in the review. My car is pretty loaded, but doesn’t have every option.

      @luisavilez8842 Před 3 lety

      It does not, I have one and it more on the sport side like a sedan and not loose and big like a big suv, the glk rides more like a sporty sedan a good set of Michelin pilot sport 4 tires and good coast highway will give you a lot of fun.

  • @cindycurrey7515

    cont...It definitely has push-button start, opens by touching the door handle or locks that way, has a Sport mode and well as Economy button. It kicks butt in Sport mode - BTW. It may not have a bumper switch to open the lift back (like Ford), but it does have a button on the key fob to open the tailgate.

    This guy obviously isn't familiar with the Mercedes-Benz COMAND system at all and the user interface for the nav system. The dial will work while the vehicle is in drive, but the easiest and safest way to use the nav is with the voice interface. Simply press the button on the steering wheel and say the city and street address, and you're all set. Not sure why he feels a touch screen is needed. Kinda hard to operate a touch screen and keep your eyes on the road. Next time do your homework before you review a vehicle, or at least read the multiple operator manuals included with the MB vehicles that clearly explain how to operate the systems. Also MBUSA has many videos on CZcams explaining vehicle features and operating instructions

    Also, the navigation couldn’t be easier and yes, when the car is in motion you can’t use the dial, but that’s when you use your voice - just talk to the car…I could go on… If your going to review a car, maybe learn about it’s features first… geez!!!! If someone is interested in this car - learn about it from the dealer! It’s awesome and reasonable in price and definitely NOT a Ford!

    How in the Hell is a Ford Flex slightly bigger than this Car? This is a dumb size comparison. This Mercedes is a 2 row small crossover around 178inches in length and around 54" interior cargo and the Flex is a 3 row over 200 inches in length and with way more interior cargo room . Of course the Flex is going to hold more, what a stupid comparison. Talk about apples to oranges.
