I just lost my MW07 right after they're a year old on a plane. I was sad I have to buy it again, and just found out about the MW07+. I'm not as sad anymore now lol
I originally purchased the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay 8 2.0 and I didn't like them because I couldn't use each ear bud independently. You can only use the right one by itself and not the left one. I contacted their customer service and they were not very helpful, so I returned them and bought the Master & Dynamic MW07 Plus. So far I have been pretty happy with them. The sound quality is really great and they are pretty comfortable once you find the best size tips and wings to fit your ears. I would recommend purchasing these even though they are expensive if you are wanting great sound quality.
I'd like to point out that your use of the term "HD sound" is technically incorrect since you tested the earbuds using Spotify. Spotify's highest quality option offers 320 kbps audio streams. High-fidelity or lossless audio has a significantly higher bitrate of 1,411 kbps.
I have the MWO7, and they sound amazing , the problem with them is connection, they connect with multiple items at the same time. They just stop working. You have to reset them several times. I called the company, they had no solution
Yeah that is a pain, I come to get on my motorcycle outside the house and they pickup Sony TV when the family is watching. Either have to turn TV off, or walk to bottom of toad where the connection drops then reconnect them to the phone. I think it’s not unique to the MW07s alone though?
Your coffee shop test is a good idea. The GO call quality is quite unusable it seems. I was waiting for BT5.0 for the MW07s but why ohhhh why no aptxhd? Like they're delaying tech so they have something to upgrade next year. Also wish the Plus came in the fabric GO box. Maybe a little cheaper next go around? wink wink ......
Totally agree, tired out the 1000xm3s, the melomania, the jabra 65t (crap), the only ones i've not tried are the Sennheisers, but the MW07s truly win for me
Omar Reyez they never said that there was any difference in sound, just features like ANC, Transparency and obviously the best feature; mega loads longer battery life :)
Raw Muay Thai ok, but I don’t know how loud the originals was, just getting as much info before deciding what to buy, not bothered about price just want really good true wireless, the momentum’s are supposed to be best but batter is a big issue, and the Klipsch T5’s have connectivity issues also.
Good information and well presented, but have you tried them with an apple iphone/ipad because tech specs on M&D website says that they only support apt-x and sbc codec. Do they sound as good on apple devices as they sound on android devices?(Apple only supports AAC codec as a form of high res audio codec)
Nice review as always. How easy would it be to change things (i.e volume, next song...) If you were wearing gloves??? It's winter now and outside jogging or walking the dog might make these difficult to control. Thoughts?
Michael Shelnutt The controls work great with gloves or through a thin beanie. In fact, they are much easier to control with gloves or a hat than the Bose Soundsport Free pair I use for running. I love the MW07 sound but they just don’t stay in my ears when I run (everyone is different), so I use the Bose pair, which sound decent and are rock solid in the ear, just for working out.
Michael Shelnutt I haven't tried them with gloves yet. But the buttons are very tactile and easy to press for me. One or my favorite parts of the device tbh

Why did they change the metal case inside color to white? On the first MW07 it's black. It matches the two tone marble Earbuds so mabye there's metal cases still with black on the inside for upcoming color variants.
Got the original MW07s, favoured them over the Sony WF-1000XM3s (had them bothe for a weekend testing), and thanks to your amazing reviews, I've favoured the MW07s, and now I really really really want the Plus version :) Again, thanks a bunch for your reviews, keep it up :)
Chun Wai Chan depends on which phone you are using to listen to music ... iPhones are generally the worst devices to listen music through... if you wanna go for HD music ... you get the LG phones with the mini DACs built-in in them ... this is the best choice if you are looking for real music listening experience
I had Momentum and J Bird Vista, Momentum is far better in the sound but lacks a bit when it comes to battery life and the charging case draining battery life. Vista is good in sound and comfort but I had trouble with my phone calling so I took them back. Personally, I would wait until Sennheiser brings out Momentum 2nd gen and fixes the issues if you want them based on sound, I used my momentums in the gym no worries, running, etc.

I definitely wouldn't pay Sennheiser price tag when they need to fix there issues at this point. I was always charging and had issues with the drainage from the case. Chris McKenzie I really like running and The momentum is ipx4 while the MW07 plus is ipx5 with noise cancelling... I have a jaybird x3 and I want to upgrade the sound quality... I don’t usually use the jaybird app... and I saw some reviews and people are talking that the sound of MW07 plus is amazing...

I also had the Sony XM3 TW and everyone said they sounded good, worst pair I have had, I hated the ANC made me feel sick and sounded rubbish compared to the Sennheiser, MW07 plus could be good, id wait to hear a few more reviews first before purchasing.

Got the Go version today after waiting a week and a half for shipping and they were utter garbage..didn't pair even after trying manually holding the multifunction button for 5 seconds and didn't charge in the box either..center light came on on the case but neither the right or left indicator lights worked. Was excited and thought I finally found a winning set of TW earbuds but nope. Returned.
Sound quality is not just using good headphones,the quality of the tunes affect greatly in the process; use 24 bits/96 kHz and you will see the diference...
I got master dynamic 07 go about a year! But now when I try to used it after over half hour the rights side Suddenly no sound? And some people telling try to reset! But I don't know how? Anyone can help? Thanks.
I honestly disagree with the sound quality, I have the old MW07 and they sound exactly the same, and by that I mean, the volume is not high enough, and when the bass kicks in it lowers the highs and makes the mids recessed, everything else yes, has improved, but honestly don't think they improved the sound because is not true, I also had the Sennheiser MTW, the sound is superb, but the other flaws battery drain, bluetooth cuts, etc made me return them, there is no king yet guys, let's wait on MTW 2.0
I hace the plus and It depends of the player. If you use songs in good quality (I use Tidal Hifi) there is no problems; It sound so loud,normaly at 50% of volume it's enough. If you use Poweramp for example sound a bit low...65/70% of the volume.
The airpods pro sounded better in the noise tests you did in your review of them then these two. The airpods pro then followed by the plus then last the go.
best sounding true wireless earbuds are still the MTW, just got my MW7 Plus today and they did not improve the sound quality from the old MW7, so I have had the 3 of them, MTW still king in terms of sound only.

AirPods are always best for call quality, and that continues with the Pro. I've never been a fan, but these new ones are pretty solid. That said, MW07 Plus are much better when it comes to the music, and have much better battery life. Depends on what you're looking for.
Call quality was horrible: For one call the recipient could only hear garbled mumbles For another call the recipient could hear me but it sounded like I was speaking at a distance For another call the recipient could hear me perfectly but I couldn't hear him at all.

for what its worth I had the AirPods Pros, monsterbeat pros, and the MWO7 plus all at the same time. The AirPods Pros sound quality compared to the monsterbeats and MW07 is laughable. Bass is sooo weak. The MW07 is better even still than the monsterbeat pros. I watched that Flossy Carter review and was blown away, thinking what the hell did this guy listen to?? I figured he was being paid to trash them or something, I really have no idea. But he is flat out wrong, which is sad because like 97k people have watched that review and for some reason they take his word as golden. Check your phone settings. Maybe its close apps for longer battery life. Mine MW07 Plus is ok, and no connection problems. (Xiaomi mimix2s)
Great review! I think for a $100 more, getting a lot of additional features which makes the plus a better long term investment
I have upgraded to the Plus, for me the deal breaker with the originals was the battery life. Have no regrets with the upgrade :)

Did you take the plastic off of the contacts?

Yes they do. The MD Go has the magnet. The MD Plus has the magnet also.
The plus are perfect but the awfull mic quality ruins them. Please update if they do a firmware update.

You might want to check out the Flossy Carter review of these ear buds. He totally trashes these. These are overpriced by a factor of 3.
