Happy to see these conversations happening in Pakistan. This is what will take country to the right direction in the long term.
In the case of a woman having the support and strength, she does go for separation and custody. And Pakistani laws for divorce unjustly support women.
But the majority of the women don't have that support. They don't have a place to go and everyone around them disowns them. They end up compromising and suffering.
And many of the men suffer in the same way. Less than women but they definitely do suffer.
Unfortunately, I have observed that whoever has some power over the other will utilize that to be unjust and abuse the other.
