I’m 48- have been around the block a few times. What I’ve come to understand for me, is relationship “love” is a distraction and a crutch. You distract yourself from yourself, and you depend on people instead of yourself. Which makes you weak. Love is selfish- it makes you feel good and when it doesn’t you don’t love them anymore.
I get sick? I have to care for me. I am broke? I have to hustle.
We are born alone and we die alone- everyone on the way os a distraction or will inflict some type of trauma or pain in your life - be it malicious, or they pass away

Honestly thank you for this video. It helped me reflect on my connection and relationships with people in my life. I didn’t feel well liked but not really hated. Now I know it’s due to me being quiet, which means I’m not directly triggering a feeling within them or they project something negative. It doesn’t matter if I’ve done a bunch of good things or not, it’s about the feeling I can trigger within someone. Knowing this actually gives me more control over my social life. Thank you!

That was already dysproven if mother didn't know it was you and you was like couple years away she wouldn't feel love towards you! Even that is like selfish just because you are her kid for continuation of your genes, why not love other kids too? Ppl would less likely help someone else outside their family let alone stranger even less member of other species... Love is evil because we love someone else more than anything. Let me dispute the notion that love is essential. It's not. You can understand other people, the same way you can eat and drink, because you know that you need to do those things. If you can feel love it's even better, like when you feel hungry or thirsty, it's an incentive for you to eat and drink. But you can do it the same way, out of simple duty and rationality, even if you are incapable of feeling love, the same way you study and analise carefully a real world problem to put it into the form of an equation and then try to solve it. So love is indeed something internal that you can't really share. But I won't give it to much importance on the great scheme of things... Justice and equity are possible without love.

this isnt a direct comment to you this is for all people. stop trying to figure people out that you yourself doesnt personally know. you cant take snips of random part of what someone says then based on that come up with your own! conclusion on who they are then based on your own conclusion because you dont actually know them then try to figure them out on your own description of this person you have created. i can speak on this because ive had so many descriptions created of me that people cant even then explain for example why my daughter is the way she is because it will then contradict the description they have made or they would say she made herself like that which makes no sense because a child especially by this age are the way they are purely based on their surroundings and upbringing. but its my child turned out to be dumb, could read could wirte, was rude or anything i mean anything negative the story line drama would be this is the child she raised shes like this because of her upbringing, you as an adult are the reason for why your child is the way she is. anything positive they wil keep it hush or attach it to something else and anything even the smallest thing thats negative would be on public display with some extras added on. people love drama, hype and anything negative so you keep yourself to yourself, love those that love you and be there for them as best you can and leave it at that. also in terms of being selfless and selfish i some what agree with what you said. i dont think selfless people become selfish though because when you are someone that has been use to being there for people throughout your life with what you can help with that not something that will change but who you are selfless with can change. because when when you are a selfless person to some people that can turn into an expectation or you find yourself in situations where the other person just wouldnt do the same for you when the tables turn. also selfless people dont even speak on or show other people the things they do. oh yeah and last point sometimes its best to just leave people to think what they want especially people that you dont know or dont love you. you should only care about the opinion or views of the people that know you and love you think because there will never be intentions behind their opinion other than wanting you to be in a better position in all aspects. anyone outside of that its just for the purpose of gaining something from you or for some drama.
