I'll be starting work after Christmas on a brand new animated diorama which should be ready by early summer 2020. I think you'll find it just as fascinating. If you keep subscribing to my channel I'll be able to afford to buy the parts to start building it and you'll be notified when its ready!
That’s really quite brilliant, I’d have been fascinated for hours by this as a child trying to understand how it worked.
Extraordinary. In all the diorama videos I’ve watched on YT, this is the first to have a plot and moving parts that aren’t the usual train tracks. I’m stunned that they’re controlled by magnets. What an inspiration, a shame I don’t understand half of what you’re describing.
I really like how well-hidden the transitions between each 'scene' of the cyclist are implemented, using the bushes and the concealment of the original, "healthy" cyclist, with the falling-into-the-bush being a clever way to hide a tunnel.
Nicely done!
(Oh, and CZcams Recommended brought me to this video before the original. Thanks for that, Susan Wojcicki!)
Quite the death trap that village! Fantastic.
Yes, the grave digger in the church yard is kept very busy!
Fantastic! Beautifully done layout. Didn’t know they made miniature cycles! Tq 😃👍🏻
I am now a very old engineer and as a child I was fascinted by Victorian 'Automatons'. The detail they put in them was outstanding. Yours are the modern version of this OUTSTANDING. My late father built me the most detailed train layout on a big board using the old bakelite 'TTR' (Trix Twin Railway') three track railway. He included stationary cars and as i grew older I tried to devise a way to 'animate' my cars. The closest I got was scalaextric buried in the roads but it couldnt handle tight curves - this was back in the 1960's. Definitely had to subscribe!
Absolutely amazing detail and invention , John!!!
To all my friends in the States .... In September I visited a fabulous model store in Rapid City, South Dakota, called the Hobby House. The guys there were so friendly and helpful. I wish we had great stores like this here in England!
Is this john wardely
@@memeparkworldwide8196yes, in his new book he has mentioned this channel in it
Love it, very creative use of Magnorail, but, how can ANYONE dislike this?
If you shot photos with sunlight you'd never know it was a miniature!!! SIMPLY GORGEOUS!!!
Awesome job Sir ! Wow so cool , I also love how you got everything to look wet ,like it's been raining or such , take care! Cheers from Welland Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Absolutely Extraordinary. So much love for this exquisite model. Masterpiece
Wow best thing i've ever saw made. Well done, thanks for sharing.
Fascinating and impressive, IMO.
Thank you for this.
Those lousy apple pickers didn't even bother helping him! Tisk tisk!
Perhaps I should think about making the guy fall off the ladder! Any suggestions?
At least they called for the emergency services.
@@johnsminiatures8955 that would be awesome! I'd love to see it! Like his rubbernecking at the ambulance and accident causes his own
calvinthedestroyer They were hoping to pinch the lads bicycle but the blasted paramedics took it with them.
@@Sebastian_Dinwiddie haha
Pretty sure that you could do the complete animation with a single Arduino, but excellent build and storytelling! The ideas here are on par with the little gimmicks in Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg.
Looking forward to more content on this channel.
Very very cool! Thank you for showing us! Love learning how things work!
This was wonderful. Thank you for sharing this. You are a very talented guy.
You’re a genius John, thank you for sharing this with us
you make it look so easy,, excellent job love the model and appreciate the work put behind all of it
Oh. And you did a superb job on the project. Well done!!
Fantastic stuff. Really well done. Thank you for sharing it with us all.
This magnarail stuff is fantastic
Right up my street. Magnarail is definitely going to feature on Lumsdonia.
It's interesting how everyone cycles/drives by the poor guy head first in the creek! He did not have NHS, I guess.
Congratulations on a superbly built diorama.
This is freakin' amazing. Keep up the good work.
Thanks. I start work on the next model in the New Year!
That is fantastic. I didn't know that you could get cyclists. (Was the Duke Of Edinburgh driving the Range Rover?)
This is awesome. Great work and very creative on the scene.
Lots of work went into the setup and video 👍. Wonderful
Fantastic! Loved watching the build!
Incredible job, well done! What a great idea for a little story to add to any scene. I am blown away. Happy Modelling! Hans ...
Yes, I'm sure there are little dramas unfolding in everyone's models. Perhaps I might have given people some ideas.
Very nicely done and the detail video shots match the dialogue very well. Easy to follow and understand. Thanks, Ronn
That’s awesome! I wish I had the talent to make that for my o gauge layout
Fantastic animated diorama, with beautiful modeling. If the magnet conveyor for the ambulance could be made to slow to a gradual stop at the accident scene (and then start up again with gaining momentum) its movement would be much more convincing. Likewise, the cyclist's speed could vary here and there for a more realistic presentation. As is it's a little toy-like. That said, mine isn't as nice as yours!
All in all, great job. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for the "making of" - Verry funny and brilliant!
Half expected the ambulance to hit the fella walking on the side of the road! Excellent fabrication. Thanks!
Like the story of this piece. Cool use of the rail system.
Grandios.
Super
Perfekt.
LG Andy
Well that was bloody brilliant.
This is great !
Well done !
Cheers from Detroit 🇺🇲
Fantastic, the idea is great, the implementation is extremely well done and the rendering exceptional !! As we say in French, " you have gold in your hands"....
Seriously brilliant!
Looks fantastic! I wish i was good enough at that sort of thing to do that!
Practise makes perfect.... give it a try! Have fun.
@@johnwardley7747 ok, I'll try! Thanks!
That’s awesome! Great job!
Amazing what you all do,loved it. Very cool video.
very nice setup and well presented thank you
Brilliant fun and very clever. Looks great too. Well done.
Amazing!
this channel deserves way more attention. Well done!
Thanks for showing, I enjoyed it a lot 👍
That was awesome. Nicely done. Fast response from the ambulance the biker must have had good insurance.
I think the model is set in the UK where there is a National Health Service, no need for insurance, free healthcare for all. Yeah, great modelling!
And those guys working right there just watched the whole thing happen.
Excellent work!
Beifall !!! Hervorragend. Danke fürs Zeigen.
Amazing
Very impressed with this. Regards from Australia.
Blimey the ambulance took the bike too - now that's service!. Perhaps they were taking it to 'Bicycle Repair Man' courtesy Monty Python (c1969)
Hey! I never thought of that. Who said the NHS didn’t provide a superb service!
what
John Penny I was a paramedic in London for ten years. If we had any injured cyclists as patients, wherever possible, we would try to make room for their bicycles on the journey to hospital.
@@heli-crewhgs5285 Well done you, that's definitely going beyond your duty. My family are eternally grateful for all you NHS people have done for us (myself, wife and elder daughter are cancer survivors, wife has had other awful problems including strokes) So a very big 'thankyou' for all you do.
"I don't like SPAM ! "
Wonderful!!! Fantastic !!! Congratulations!!!
This was fun!
top top top , i love it , amazing work !!!!
That is so cool I love when he falls of his bike and the ambulance comes
This looks very nice !
That is so brilliant! It's really cute and the best little model I've ever seen. It's got a nice little story that gets wrapped up nicely. (Unless you go further with the idea of reincarnation and if this is a sisyphean character which could get a little complex lol)
In answer to all the people who ask me where to buy the Magnorail system, it is available in France from Maketis, or in Australia from Magnorailoz
superb, very impressed
Genius. I've subbed
brilliant work
This is awesome!! Great job!! Unbelievable 😃
Brilliantly made

Wow, that's really cool!

Great build.
4:25 That’s the cyclists car that he crashed yesterday and now he’s riding his bike. That he crashed next.
Bad luck
He might have a drinking problem.

Amazing work. Another subscriber right here
i could only think of one thing that would make this even better.
Minions jumpping out of the ambulance and throwing him in there XD
really nice project. i actually laughed at the start when i saw how he went flying. XD
Those guys pruning the trees could have helped the guy. Brilliant stuff well done!
Well done.
wow, just wow !!
Wow! İnsane! Respect for the time and effort!!!
awesome!
great fun to watch well done
Amazing job!!!!!👍💜 New sub
I do appreciate for your video. Good Job
Even if the diorama was totally static and wasn't mechanically driven it would still take top prize at a show I was really impressive but I would have opted for a hand cranked version due to the amount of electronic content needed to operate the 2 actions but again that would be my preferred option . It was a really nice build
Thanks for your very kind comments. I’m going to auction the original model to help me pay for the next one, which is going to be expensive!
That is fantastic !!!!!!!!!!
fantastic!
BRILLIANT
Fantastic....
