@@AzraelThanatos Considering they're a type of mobile weapon and not an actual mobile suit, I think its alot like the Mobile dolls in Gundam X
This is the first G-Witch kit that has the "buy me" vibe. There are a few others I might snag at some point, but this thing just hits an aesthetic I really dig.
Now that I've seen them built and looking as fantastic as I hoped, it's now time to wait until they actually arrive in Canada

Those magezines on the shields can be easily made to be usable mags for the beam gun. You just gotta snap them into like a kitkat

Kind of a hidden function, like the leg skirting options for 1/144 HG kits.

By far the best looking kit ive seen in a while. Ive already seen so many unique customs and i plan to get a few myself for fun colors.
This is personally the type of mecha model kit I like the most. A beautiful, pseudorealistic robot that looks both credible and incredible. And not only the design and color scheme is appealing to me, the kit itself is really impressive as a High Grade, it has some 'RG' features just like the Moon Gundam did (and some others, too).
I really love the design of this one. It deserved to be an actual Gundam, and I'll probably repaint it as one.
I'm probably going to do a Virtue/Nadleeh armor detachment diorama using the Gundvolva and Lfrith Ur.
I recently found the HG Aerial at target. Got it, buit it, and loved it. So much so that I went back and grabbed another one to display it as the Bit-on form. Super fun and fast builds!
I've watched this three times already! Just got mine today can't wait to get it built. Thanks Mecha another great Gundam 💪🏽💪🏽

I think that, with the heels, it may be more of a thing that the joint didn't fully connect for you at first and then worked itself into the right place. I've had that happen with a few of the similar kits

the concept of the Gundvolva is actually similar to the GX-Bits from Gundam X as in drone units that look like Mobile Suits controlled by a Gundam, in Gundam X's case controlled by a Newtype.

4:49 Saw the same issue with the heels from some people on twitter too. Some even had stress marks after trying to put them together.
Any idea how to fix it??
@@zayarphyo7770 typical fix is to just sand down the part so that theres less friction i guess

@@zayarphyo7770 add a thin layer of: tamiya cement, super glue, or paint to either the hole or connector.
like super super thin layer on a piece, let it dry. then test fit. Ideally you do it on the piece that you can also sand down easily in case you put too much.
I was honestly thinking of passing this one up until you showed off those knees! Thise are some amazing knees for a high grade!

Oh dang a kit I need 3 of to make those fantastic scenes. Darn you Bandai. Not to mention the kit itself is insanely good for a HG I might have to grab a couple more for customization. Thankfully it’s probably the second cheapest WFM kit.
Looking back, this suit is giving me Steel Haze Ortus vibes- minus the whole "mass produced" part.

I found 3 in my small department store gunpla section its just one small shelf most other department store gunpla sections are entire walls
Wow, yours is a refreshing take on a mecha gunplay introduction , im amazed or probably just too old. Nearly got me wanting to spend on gunplay all over again.

Gundvolva and Gund-Node design is so dope. Even it's just an unmanned MS tho
I had to tighten up the c clips on the feet. But after a small bead on the tip of the foot parts, it works fine.
But i had no problem with the wrists or heels.
the c clip of the left ankle on my gundvölva broke as well as the right ankle armor
so i sticked the drill part from demi option set with a leftover polycap onto it and make it a pirate style custom
Just an info spare ammo in the shield can be separate to be use as normal ammo magazine.

A warning, myself and other builders I've spoken too have all had the balljoint holding the ankle armor snap off. The plastic on plastic connection is too snug oob and puts stress on the plastic piece. I suggest sanding the ball so the connection isn't so tight.

Thick C-clip to prevent breaking, I love it. My PG Strike Rouge has two C clips snap on me, one on each leg 😢

There seem to be a few random white dots on this kit that I can't not notice, it looks amazing though, think I'll have to grab a few
when the drone looks better than most of the mobile suits in this series

The colors are a tiny bit too saturated for my taste if only because i like how they look in the show. Ignoring that theyre perfect. I love the idea of gundams as funnels. Makes me want to make a whole custom around it!

@mechagaikotsu About the issue on Gunvölva Heels... I used Oil to avoid the breaking of the heels (back side) 😅😊❤💙
i just order my own Gundvolva, even knowing this problem, but i saw many comments on reddit about this issue but i was looking a different way of take care of this issue with the heels. I was thinking with super glue, to fill those holes in the part. Off course letting dry the glue to make a little stronger that part, but about the oil, which kind of Oil did you used ?. Also ,thank you for your comment, i was looking for someone to help me with this. I was trying to not buy this kit cause of that problem, but looks so cool so..i lost.

This thing looks really nice... I haven't been a fan of all the suits in Witch From Mercury (especially the Dilanza variants which I feel are ugly as hell), but this Gundvolva one is just sexy. Like an italian sportscar in mechform. I must buy it.
