Other ideas to take into consideration. The stuffing (is that what you call it?) could be made from shredded newspaper or old books. Also if one wants to use cardboard boxes to breakdown into packaging supplies, go to your local grocery store and ask to speak with some one in produce, many places are more then willing to give their “garbage” away.
I absolutely love those ideas, Jenn! And I couldn't agree with you more: making a profit vs. choosing the alternative method can be such a challenging dilemma for small business owners. Hopefully we can all just do the best we can!

Thanks for this! Do you wrap the jewelry with anyting or add cushion before putting in the mailer? I'd be afraid it would bounce around too much. I'm using kraft jewelry boxes at the moment but they aren't very eco friendly and trying to find an alternative.

Ok…Who has the heart to tell her that she’s doing/did significantly more environmental damage by creating/filming/editing/posting/etc. these videos to CZcams-than basically all of the unsustainable items she’s ever used (and is now “retching” at), combined? 😬 Not to mention the massive amount of human and environmental damage she contributes to, every time she picks up an electronic device (like a smartphone or tablet). Both because of the grossly unethical, slave like conditions happening to the impoverished/vulnerable populations who are used in the mining/extraction of the rare earth materials that are required for manufacturing the items… But also the immense amount of damage she adds to, literally every single time she uses an electronic device for *anything* (especially using the internet/social media)… I’m just say’n. 🤷♀️
