Watching Yoongi rap 117 syllables in one minute has always been amazing 💜💜💜💜 Cypher pt 3 is always my favorite.. Supreme Boi was a trainee at the same time as the guys, he quit for his own reasons but they have all stayed friends💜

I really appreciate that you didn't just pretend to love the last Cypher! I feel like many reactors just pretend to LOVE every song they hear. I'm a HUGE bts fan but there are still some songs that doesn't fit my taste, I can still appreciate them though. Please continue to be your authentic self, it's so refreshing! Don't be afraid of angry armys, they usually only show up when the reactors are being downright disrespectful!💜
Rap line is soo good. Wait until you hear just the vocal line they are equally as good. Like house of cards, truth untold, and zero o'clock are personally my 3 favorites. They have lives with english subtitles
Its amazing that you have to go to Korea to find some real appreciation for old school hip hop. This is how I got into BTS, through the rapline. CYPHER 4 is killer live.
Bear in mind that not everything has a direct English translation so some things we wouldn't quite understand.
You should react to tracks UGH! and DDAENG and tag on tge DKDKTV channel explanations so you understand them.💜

Cypher 3 is my favourite too. It's so hype but they are all hype in different ways. And (as you say) "studying" the lyrics and knowing a bit of the back story gives you even greater appreciation for them. Great reaction.

Hip hop lover (chyper) these are who they have studied, and some of the albums they have listed to from these great rappers. These guys RM and SUGA started at a young age and was involved in the underground scene. J-Hope was a street dancer who joined the group for his abilities, but was hooked on SUGA and RMs rapping talents and with coaching from them became the 3rd rapper of the group. ❤❤❤❤

Each one has definitely a different style but everyone is great and they can be really versatile as well + all of them write their own lyrics and they are great. They truly are real rappers and all of them have produced too and of course all can dance and now even sing. I'm so proud of them 🔥
Anyways, I love all the cyphers but my favorite one is Cypher pt.3 Killer. Also, you have to listen to the other rap line songs like Outro: Tear, UGH, Ddaeng... there's more but if you liked the cyphers and they going hard then you will like these songs for sure
The diction, cadence, flow , enunciation, and beat control all components RM uses perfectly are also objectively the best. Not to mention his double or tripke meanings as well as rhyming 2 to 3 languages at once

Obviously PSY is K-pop, K-pop is an industry, and he was part of a K-pop company before, one of the biggest ones, YG. But today they have their own K-pop company, P-Nation.
I like how Cypher 4 is slower, it shows versatily and that they don’t need to rap fast for it to sound good. Cypher 4 has this laid back attitude and tells the haters “we don’t care about you anymore we have nothing to prove to you”. I personally love this one a lot. Everyone has their own taste though, so fair enough.
Next is ugh and the explanation to the song by dkdktv it’s an amazing one

Cypher pt. 4 was the first one that I listened to, and I loved it! I still love it, but it has moved into last place. 2 and 3 are tied for me, then 1, then 4. 1-3 are really aggressive, where 4 is said to be where the guys were content where they were and didn't have to really prove as much, because they already had. Also, hearing 50,000 people yell "I love myself" at a concert is really, really powerful. I have a greater appreciation for 4 knowing more about it. Glad you enjoyed them! (As others have said, I appreciate you being honest about not loving 4. It's ok to not love every song; you'll like some more than others). Thanks for the reaction!

Yes, our 3 rappers are a force to be reckoned with! You will see that the first 3 cyphers were mainly about telling off their haters and the older Korean rappers who judged them and ridiculed them so they were more aggressive. The last one was the one that said they are over it and the haters are now meaningless because they know their worth as rappers. So the cypher is more laid back but still hits the message home. If you haven't reacted to their live Outro Tear performance, please do - you will love it!

These are awesome! I enjoy 2nd and 3rd the most. The 4th is slower, as you said. I like it though because it's a switch up. It's fun in concerts too because everyone can sing "I love myself" really loud, so it's good being slow for audience participation :)

*Let me briefly explain BTS rapline to y'all!*
*RM* is a poet. You can not change my mind.His lyricism reads, sounds and works like poetry: a few words have multiple meanings and derivate in multiple chains of thought. Every time you listen to them, you discover new details, new ideas, new insights. Even when he's being straightforward, there's still some some philosophy or revelation or a big question or an aesthetic behind them. A poem is full of passion, but every word is chosen carefully, with intention. They're puzzle pieces, every piece has a place to create the full picture. It's a form of ART. WORDS WITH INTENTION.
*Suga's* lyricism is like "an arrow straight to the heart": you immediately understand the emotion he's trying to convey, you don't need to even know what he's saying to know "what you're supposed to FEEL". What he says is always interesting too, and it has layers too, but, from the first listen.... You usually feel that same way after listening to his song 1000 times. Even when the song is sociopolitical or when it displays an idea, your first impression is a STAB OF EMOTION forever tattooed in your memory.
*J HOPE's* lyricism is like a playground, an amusement park. A place where magical things happen, where you are encouraged to bend the rules. It's full of bright primal colors, you walk around with bounce in your steps and inevitably feel the childlike impulse of starting to dance around, or start imitating his onomatopoeias and alibis. There's a quirky creativity in his choice of analogies and a pure-hearted kindness in his message. Even when he expresses anger or sadness, there's this sense of DYNAMIC RHYTHM that is always moving, always unpredictable and ALIVE.

Did anyone answer you? Supreme Boi is one of their producers and a member of the original rapline. When they became an idol group he decided he didn't want to do dancing and started working behind the scenes. He's really talented tho. The whole group was formed around Rap Monster (RM) cause the company thought he was so good.

So I listen to the flow then I listen to the explaination videos, I chose that over lyric translations that did not explain words like kagamusha.

Gangnam Style by Psy is kpop. Psy like 1st or 2nd generation kpop. (I don't remember exactly which one, but he's been in the game a long time.)

you should react to the explanation for cypher 4 for a better understanding. They’re using a lot of wordplay that non korean speakers or native korean speakers wouldn’t understand. i also recommend “daeng!” with the explanation too.

The wordplay and Korean references get lost in translation; that's why it looks like it doesn't make sense. RM's verses especially have a lot of wordplay. I'd recommend BTS Outro: Tear Live Performance - Eng Subs
