@@tonychen1062 So sorry for the lay speak. VMU test (velocity, minimum, unstick). It was my opinion that the pilot may have pulled back a little early when I commented...a month ago.:)
More great shots looking down 'IJweg'! I LOVE IT because, although we know the road doesn’t cross the runway, it does, however; filmed from a perspective such as this; and with the gates and warning signs present; appear almost as a runway crossing might if located here, similarly to the runway/roadway crossing in Gibraltar.
As I watch these shots, and comparatively reflect upon that situation in which many of us invariably find ourselves; that is, sitting at a railroad crossing, waiting for some train to tootle on by; I can’t help but think how F***ING AWSOME it would be to be waiting for one or more of these babies to blast past the front of our cars as we wait at the gate. I don’t know about anyone else, but as the 'AvGeek' that I am, I would NEVER show up on time to any destination to which I was headed; that is if I didn’t forget about it altogether. 😁
