Thanks for posting! If I could make one suggestion, having the song in the background was a little distracting. I love "Show You How to Love" but sometimes I couldn't quite hear what they were saying. Otherwise, I love seeing interviews with PTX. Thanks so much!
One problem with PTX competing in sectionals (besides the fact that they aren't a 12+person show choir): everyone else will get their butts whooped. They should just come in and grace the New Directions with their awesomeness.

avi grooves and girates then I scream and faint
He's a light tenor. This means that his voice tends to be softer, allowing him to have a wider range much more easily than dramatic tenors or spinto tenors. As his range increases, he doesn't have to drop weight as much as the others, because his voice is naturally light. I'm a baritone and I can sing just as high as he can, because I can drop weight as I extend my range. So yes, he can sing soprano, but he can't be classified as one because he's a male, though technically, he is a soprano :P
So freaking excited for their tour, less than a month til I get to see them live!

Mitch played an extra, basically, in one of the competing groups at....regionals, I think? I think it was in Season 3 episode "On My Way". It was the group wearing the weird outfits.

I would still listen to them incessantly if I were blind, but even so, the whole group knows how to dress themselves! Damn, they have some nice shoes.

Cortez Mitchell and Adam Ward, both altos, explicitly say in their biographies at: chanticleer [org]/about/singer-biographies/ that they are countertenors. Adam had a solo in "Somebody to Love" in the Chanticleer group and you can obviously tell he doesn't sound feminine, yet he hits several high notes with powerful head resonance. I'm just trying to argue that not all countertenors have feminine voices.
Mitch: "I'm the tenor"
Scott: "I'm the baritone"
Kirstie: "I'm the GIRL!"

Okay, I may not be a vocal coach, but that doesn't necessarily mean I know nothing about the human voice in regards to singing. Casa Breves, a soprano in Chanticleer, also has a male range, but guess what? He's a countertenor. If you listened to the video I showed you in our previous conversation, you'd know he has a male range, you'd know he doesn't sound feminine, and you'd also know he has a rich head resonance.

Okay, but by definition- a countertenor is a male singer whose range is equivocal to a contralto or mezzo-soprano voice. Going by definition, Mitch is a countertenor. Even if someone has the high notes of an alto, said person would not have the vocal stamina to stay in that range if he was not a countertenor. Yes, it is a hormonal imbalance, but in some cases it's not (e.g., David Hansen, Russel Harcourt, and Tobias Cole).
You use too many adjectives. I prefer to say "amazing singer," which CLEARLY defines all four of the group members. :)
