- This melody doesn't seem to be very well-known, which is a huge shame as it's such a beautiful tune!
If you'd like to learn how to play this piece, you can find sheet music (easy and intermediate versions are available) for this piece here: tamsindearnley...

Lovely. Would love to learn to play the celtic harp
Thank you! And if you can, you should give it a go - it's really not a difficult instrument to play, I promise! And there's lots of options to hire harps now, so you don't have to buy one outright if you're just getting going, as well as online lessons if there's no teacher near you - go for it! :D

Hi. Well done, da iawn. 👍🙂🏴🐑
It's so lyric and dreamful! Btw being a harpist myself, can't help asking - what is the microphone model you're using in this video?
Thank you so much! the microphone I'm using in the video is a Zoom h4n :) I also really like to use Røde nt5s as well, but this video is the Zoom. hope that helps!
Just happened upon this lovely Welsh tune, so beautiful!. Thinking about ordering the sheet music, but what key is it in? I’m the one who tunes her harps in FMajor, thanks!
Isn't it just such a lovely tune! To play it, you need to tune your harp to C major and then add just one F#, 2 above middle C (the top line of the treble clef), so you should be able to play it just fine on a harp tuned in F. (There aren't any lever changes, but the F# only comes in the melody). Hope this helps! 😊
Lovely playing indeed. Quick question - I noticed your instrument is from Teifi Harps - what's happened to them - they seem to have disappeared. You don't happen to know where they went by any chance???
Oedd hwnna'n hyfryd, diolch am rannu!
Da iawn! Diolch yn fawr
Thank you! I’m so pleased you liked it! 🥰
@@TamsinDearnley Croeso! Roedd yn brydferth👍

Hello! Oh, I'm so sorry, I was an idiot and just put the wrong link there - my apologies, and thanks for letting me know! It should be the correct link now :)

Ah, brilliant - and thank you! 😁✨🎶
Nice melody! Is it your composition?
I wish I could lay claim to this one, but it's an old Welsh tune. It's a gorgeous melody, isn't it!
Hiraeth yr ufnol gyda hon.

Ahhh, it's that kind of a tune, isn't it...! ❤️
