Apparently I get inspired to make a video only once a year. 😂 I saw Dune and thought it was absolutely incredible, so it was really fun to try editing a video about Paul Atreides. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Dune 2 will clean up at the next Oscars. Javier Bardem is absolutely amazing and his performance is Oscar worthy. For me he is my favorite character. His mentorship of Paul and taking care of him like a father is what Paul needed after the loss of his father.
This is a piece of art. Everything, the video, the song, the dialogue, Timmy's acting, Paul, the transitions... Loved it.

Huh? I've read 3 of the 6 books and I don't understand what you're saying. What's the other prospect? They have a bunch of bloodlines they can use, but that's not relevant at this time.

As for who the "other prospect" for kwisatz haderarch, I won't give the plot away! You'll just have to watch - but it is a few books into the future.

When this movie first came out I was kinda afraid to watch it cause I grew up with the 1987 version and loved it and sometimes when they remake movies they ruin it majorly and so when I finally got up the courage to watch it to my great surprise I fell in love with it they did an amazing job and I added it to my movie list of movies I love to watch more then once. ☺️

I love editing ive made some for dune too. But the problem i have its that i work with imovie and cant reduce the music voice in dialogs when i wanna add them to the edit and that makes the edit so noisy. How do u do that? Your’s was so clean
The movie file I have has multiple audio tracks for background noise, soundtrack, dialogue etc, so I can delete the unnecessary ones and keep only the dialogue one

Wait, was Chani "killing" him in his dreams an actual foreshadowing that he will abandon the golden path because of her?
The way I saw it is that his fight with Jamis symbolized the death of his childhood and birth of his adulthood ("Paul Atreides must die for Kwisatz Haderach to rise"), and she was the one who gave him the crysknife Paul used to kill him. So his vision of her stabbing him with a knife was a figurative vision that meant that she would be the one who provides him the means to "kill" his boyhood self.
Although I do also like your idea of foreshadowing him rejecting the Golden Path because he can't bear to be parted from her.

shame this movie had such potential but then the screenplay was just awful and that ruined what could have been a great movie with a solid cast. they really explained almost nothing about the Dune universe and not seeing the emperor or the guild navigators, you folks have almost no idea of what was truly happening. that initial scene with the reverend mother was just so disappointing as the actress was screened and you saw nothing of what she was experiencing and having his mother do the incantations instead of paul? meh way too much emphasis on mamoa and his fighting scenes and they barely got to arakis before all hell broke loose? again they should have spent more than a weekend writing this script and they chose poorly
biggest thing about lady jessica is she was so plainand mousey and not the powerful bene gesserit witch and beautiful as she needed to be.
If you read the books, you'd know that mamoa is actually the main character

Maybe its a silly question but i am reading a book through, im after getting through like half of it. If emperor wanted to kill Paul at Arrakis, qnd thats believed to be the reason he ordered them to move there. Why couldnt he just do it on Caledan , or whatever the name of Paul's original planet was ?(edit ) like he has the whole Sardaukar army and acces to this like "big trading league " so to say
The emperor didn't want the other great houses to know. It would be far harder to keep the blame on the Harkonnen's if they attacked Caledon for a number of reasons
