Why were people criticizing Zheng Shuang???I think she did it perfectly. Her character clearly states that she's innocent and had never had a boyfriend before Xiao Nai. She's not even into movies--of any kind or genre..For someone as shy as she is around Xiao Nai and gets kissed suddenly for the first time, if were her I would've acted the way she did. Plus it was the first time they've seen each other for a long time. She had never kissed anyone before, people!!!And in the proceeding kiss scenes, I really think she had portrayed a girl learning how to do 'it', and no other actress could've done it better than her. #myopinion #nohatejustlove
I'm not hating on Zheng Shuang but in China, she's kinda well known for her lack of expression to act specially when it revolves something *romantic* (like kissing) as to the more accurate version of Bei Wei Wei, *also imo*, is the original version (which is the movie, that first came out). Angelababy approach on portraying Bei Wei Wei is very different sense of the character yet intact with what it is in the novel, which is that "*she's innocent and shy at first but as time went by (since they've meet & became a real couple irl) she became a better version of herself that Xiao Nai He depends on* (the tv series didn't show Nai He's downfall with the company/financer of some sort thay stole their whole concept inventing the game eventually if they released it they'll be sued for copyrights and that lead Nai He question himself about his decisions, good thing was the later version of Wei Wei (that ZS didn't get to act bcos it wasnt part of the series) was like someone he can depend on (you'll know once you watch the movie) 😊
I don't know..cause I read the English translated novel, the drama is more like it. And I've watch the movie as soon as I finished the drama. Not saying the other is better, but what I meant was she did what was on the script and what the director asked her to..also liked the movie and drama in different ways haha
