we could change it all!! because it's actually ALL of our collective fault which is good because that means we have the ability to change it!!....we have the system(capitalism) because we are all in agreement that we have it(even if we disagree with it and even if we don't understand what capitalism is/does). billionaires/corporations/government none of these are mandating or forcing us to have capitalism, it's not written into our laws or constitution, we have capitalism because we all don't understand it! we don't know that it's a single priority system, it's definitely not a "tide that lifts all boats", it's not a multi priority system! the words 'money' and 'capital' are synonyms meaning we should use these 2 words interchangeably like dirt=soil, meaning capital=money, meaning capitalism=moneyism....we have a system that has "money" as its name!!(our system has MONEY for its name!) and yet we somehow think MONEYism(capitalism) is going to prioritize something other than money!??....we don't call our system humanmoneyism(a system which would prioritize BOTH humans and money...we don't call our system governmentism/lawism/rule-ism! so collectively(as an entire group/individuals don't count) so collectively we are prioritizing money OVER everything else ie me/you/all humans/all life on earth/the earth our only home/governments/billionaires/corporations/justice/freedom/democracy/communities/peace on earth/competition/technological advancements/quality products/cures for diseases/etc/etc/you name a word and as long as the word you name isn't a synonym for 'money'(ie bank/capital/subsidies/profits/dollars/dinero/assets/lettuce/etc) then the word you list is going to collectively rank below money as long as we all continue to agree we have moneyism! none of those things are synonyms for money, 'government' is not a synonym for 'money'!! so we are collectively prioritizing money over government and then complaining about how "money controls our government" uh ya duh!...
in our own personal lives we prioritize multiple things. we prioritize our own lives/our loved ones/our pets/our homes/our education/our jobs(or our purpose)/volunteering/spirituality(religion)/money(sure because we are forcing ourselves to have to prioritize it but if given a chance close to zero humans would want or choose to prioritize it)/etc we all individually prioritize multiple things so why don't we have a COLLECTIVE multip priority system? well we falsely believe moneyism is a multi priority system but that's only because the advocates are claiming that's what it is not because there's any evidence that's what moneyism is/does!! but not only is it's name money but the way our current world functions(dysfunctions) it's as if we have a collective system that prioritizes money above all else, ie why our gov seems so corrupt and unable to function the way we need it to or the reason why we have a criminal punishment system instead of a justice system like we should or why we have a for profit sick care system instead of a preventive health care system like we need...but if we are blaming "big gov" or corporations/billionaires for all our "problems" then we give up control of being able to do anything about it all!! but good news! in this sense we are not only the supervillains of this story BUT also the superheroes too!! we don't have to have a "violent revolution" we don't have to fight or hate our own selves!! we don't have to write a new law or repeal any laws no constitutional convention! all we have to do is realize that we do not even have a "tide type system" even defined in any classical systems literature(fascism/democracy/liberalism/libertarianism/communism/socialism/authoritarianism/progressivism/conservatism/etc) ALL the "classic" systems are ALL single priority systems according to their name AND how they function(dysfunctioned) in our world when tried!(sure advocates of whichever system will swear up and down that THEIR system is "the tide" but not only will the system's name say otherwise BUT when the system was tried they'll just make up excuses like "well it would have worked if the usa wouldn't sanction it" or "if we just really had a 'free market' THEN capitalism would be the tide"(moneyism seems like it's the bermuda triangle of all tides! it's not only sunk all boats but even sank aircrafts!? so "baffling" and "mysterious" advocates are trying to claim the crafts are not even sunk but in 'some other dimension' NONSENSE! we are finding them at the bottom of the ocean!!) if we want a true multi priority system we're going to have to try some new system that's never been tried before. i'm not sure if we'd have to name it all of our priorities something like "human/earth/money/government/justice/freedom//etc-ism" or if we call it "everythingism" or "all we needism" or perhaps "the tide"?? but we will have to specifically name and define it with all of our priorities AND we should make the entire thing as simple/simplified as possible so there's zero question as to what the system is/does...we put a human on the moon we are smart enough to figure out a multip priority type system which must be what we all want hence "the tide" idea to begin with! we can start this transition by referring to capitalism as moneyism instead from now on that way we can all start to actually understand the system...

I voted Democrat for 40 years. I dropped them in 2013, but wow, it was hard to think of voting for a Republican. Then Trump, with his populist ideas, turned me into a nationalist populist- My country first, my Constitution not the UN dictates, end involvement in foreign wars, bring American industry back, build a wall and get rid of illegal immigrants- all Trump policies. He’s getting my vote in 2024.

Correct, the civic ignorance in this nation is crazy. Our founding fathers wrote letters explaining WHY they did not go with a democracy (tends to lead to mob rule). They avoided it on purpose and created instead a Constitutional Republic and they told us the reasons why. There are "democracies" in the world, it is a type of governance, but we are not one of them. I am leary of those claiming that we are a "democracy", it is like they want to change our type of governement. I am NOT Ok with that at all. They want to get rid of the electoral college too, and it is there for a VERY GOOD REASON. So, I am not OK with that either. Our education system is no longer teaching proper civics in this nation and that needs to be corrected NOW. We have a huge problem that needs to be corrected just in our education system alone.

I remember watching Romney debate with Obama. He had Obama backed up against the wall and didn't close the deal. I remember thinking "what the heck are you doing?? Go after him!!" That's when I knew it was all a scam.

You need to take into consideration her age, the time, the history up till that point. I was born in 71, so sit a little closer to the old/new worlds. Women lib, the pill, civil rights - Eisenhower in 1960 warned of the military industrial complex, and it takes time to see it enough to wake up. She grew up in a time where you did see honesty, integrity - so it was natural to want to have faith and be gaslit it isn't that bad - just one bad apple. Her whole family brainwashed her from childhood that civil involvement makes a difference, and at one time it did. It's only been the last 60 decades that society has been completely uprooted every 10 years (1960 civil rights, 70 Vietnam Oil crisis, 80 fall of USSR and computers, 90s internet boom and bust, 2000 Iraq/Afghanistan, 2010 continued war and economic recovery, 2020 covid). Before then, you had farming, industrial revolution, WW1, vote for all men women, WW2 - big events, but other than Prohibition and Suffragette - society had been Fing and killing pretty much the same for centuries.

Usually people who aspire for political office run for mayor, then state rep, then state senator, then U.S. rep, then maybe U.S. senator, and then express their desire to run for president, and maybe is selected by that party to do so. trump just decided to run for president, and was so popular was able to win the nomination. In Canada we literally don't elect our Prime Minister. We elect a local official, and party with the most local officials in the country wins and is the ruling party, and their head becomes the PM. Not one person has ever technically voted for Justin Trudeau.
