- Friends in this video I will show you How To Make Transformer Less Automatic ON/OFF Light Switch Circuit...Simple Transformer Less Automatic ON/OFF Light Switch..Friends it is a transformer less power supply circuit,,in this circuit we will not use any transformer but we can easily operate this circuit by 220 volt..Friends the circuit diagram of the automatic on/off light switch circuit is in the video please see the circuit diagram..Friends you can connect any electric light with the circuit...Friends we will use ldr in this circuit to sense the light..if you want more sensitivity then you will have to connect two ldrs with the circuit instead of one ldr..Friends we will use a 12 volt relay in this circuit to on/off the light..Friends when the light will fall on the ldr the relay will remain off and the connected light will also remain off but when the light will not fall on the ldr the relay will be on and the connected light will also on..That mean's the circuit will remain off in the light and will be on in darkness..Friends in this way the circuit will work..So friends if you want to know how to make a transformer less automatic on/off light switch circuit at home then watch the video and follow my instruction...Thanks..

1 piece blank pcb board, 1 piece 105J/450Volt capacitor, 1 piece 470k resistor, 1 piece 470uf/16volt capacitor, 4 pieces 1n4007 diodes, 1 piece 11volt ziner diode, 1 piece 33k resistor, 1 piece bc547 transistor, 2 pieces LDR, 1 piece 12volt relay...

Sir, Thanks for your circuit. I am Happy to say that I have assembled the above circuit and it is working fine. In place of fixed 33k resistor I put 50 k variable resister for adjusting the resistance. What I found is, the light is becoming on at 5 pm itself when the sunlight outside is still active. I fixed the ldr on the parapet wall of my house. It is not delaying even though I increased the resistance to 50K of the variable resistor. I want to increase the time for another 30 minutes or one hour i.e. it should become auto on around 5.30 pm or 6 pm. Please explain how to increase the time of its operation.

Friend you don't have to adjust the circuit...It will work automatically ...

HI is 470k resistor half watt it looks bigger than 33k thanks for this good circuit.
Friend 470k is 1 watt....
It is a useful circuit to those who come home late evening after work. I tried this and it works well. But I see that the transistor become warm (somewhat hot). Do I need to check it again or put a heat sink to the transistor. Please reply.
