Share your stories - whatever they are. Never let religion, politics, shame, or any ideology prevent you from doing so...because no matter what they are they'll help someone.

This is one of the very few such lectures I've seen on CZcams in which the long introduction DOES actually add to the presentation.
Also, you can tell the difference between two kinds of storytellers when you hear one consistently say "bolding" and the other say "boldface"; Chuck knows which word will communicate rather than confuse.

Can someone explain to me the ending of the Knock Knock story? The joke doesn't make sense like his dads jokes didn't make sense to him right? What does it symbolize?

@@YungToyBreaker I think the father realizes he’s turned his son what he is, a man so detached from seriousness that it alienates the people closest to him, like the father with his wife. The father on his deathbed realizes this tragic truth while his son is completely oblivious, making him burst into tears. At least that’s how I saw it.

The only author's reading I ever attended was Harlan Ellison at a bookstore in Encino, Califirnia. Harlan wrote weird stuff too. But he wasn't as funny as Palahniuk. Ellison wrote I HAVE NO MOUTH AND I MUST SCREAM.
