She just have certain thoughts which most people have sometimes
What's important is she never actually says those thoughts as she knows it will hurt others

â@@rainyx0265 ok first off, shes not so cocky because what do u expect when youve been praised since birth. shes since learned that she can get most things she want which is actually true, even saiki admitted how she can get anything she wants and how she actually has good physical appearance. she doesnt do anything bad other than kind of acknowledging her beauty (and its not like she does anything bad aside from that)

The reason ppl hate her is because of her arrogant personality and the fact she thinks she can get away with anything cus bcs of her looks, but i personally donât think sheâs that bad

I started liking Teruhashi a lot more throughout the serious, I mean, you canât hate her because sheâs arrogant and knows sheâs so beautiful. Others taught her that. Although she can still sometimes be annoying lol

Sheâs kind of annoying but sheâs grown on me throughout the show. I guess I see her as more of a regular flawed human being now rather than a narcissist who thinks she should always get her way. I still donât ship her with saiki tho bc Iâm a believer in the âSaiki=aroaceâ theory however I think the two of them could eventually be friends which would be nice to see in the show :D

I say that I like her character. It's comedic to watch her fawn over Saiki, and all she does it think and not act. It adds spice to her character. Teruhashi also isn't harming anyone in the processs, it's also just overconfidence building up because of pretty privilege. Otherwise you can't say you hate her because it's like saying you never once thought arrogantly.

Sheâs not overconfident she just tell fact, sheâs canonically blessed by god and everyone love her (unless Saiki and Kusuke) for example, that one time when Kusuke insulted her, she just cried a little bit and everyone jumped at him đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł

@@Ratsaresupercoolandunderrated her thoughts are obviously an exaggerated example because its a comedy anime, but it's not entirely wrong. intrusive thoughts exist, and so do unconscious biases. i'll give personal examples of both. intrusive thoughts- when i'm having a really serious anxiety attack i sometimes get suicidal or in the mindset for self harm. my mom is emotionally abusive but i still live with her since i'm getting on disability. I would NEVER do it, but when she's particulary cruel i have thoughts that I should end my life JUST to hurt her. i'd never do it, and i always hate myself for thinking it when i calm down. an exaple of unconscious bias for me, is slight fatphobia. i have been overweight since i was 7, my mom and dad have both been obese since i was born (adopted at birth). i am currently still overweight, so a lot of my biases come from how i view the weight on myself. i've still ocassionally had to catch myself and remind myself that it is just my own insecurities talking, and not a fact. i get so disgusted by the thoughts, but they're still there.
with teruhashi, she's viewed as perfect and desirable by ANY AND EVERY MAN. Saiki is the only exception because he has literal powers. it absolutely would warp the way she thinks, when her own brother can't even see past her beauty and view her as a human being. i think her actions matter more in this case. she's not perfect, but she's not a bad person

I used to hate her, but the more I rewatched the anime, the more I just felt sorry for her, between her brother, and all the many creeps that I'm sure she has to deal with, it's a wonder that she hasn't turned out worse. She could have ended up with a worse coping mechanism than trying to appear perfect to everyone, and I honestly can't help but wonder how nothing traumatic happened to her yet... or if it already has and this was the only thing she could do.
