We did the same on our last Carnival Cruise. We brought our own dice and practiced on embarkation day or when we were in port. We probably practiced for an hour each time. So many people stopped by as well as the casino staff. We asked if it was okay, and they said yes, no problem! My husband uses two different colors to be able to tell which one is landing where.

I was amazed on my last cruise, i asked to practuce on the closed table and they said no problem. Casino hosts Ron Ron and Golden were great. Introduce yourself to the hosts early they'll talk to the box or pit and improve your rating. The only problem i had was people started showing up thinking the table was open.

I agree with you. Not sure if dice can be controlled, but why not try to get slight better odds in your favor. I am a 10% winning goal gambler, I cannot guarantee I win, but gonna sure try to give myself the best chance at winning.

What ever you have on the top or facing you the other side equals 14. 6on top 8 on bottom 5 five facing you 9 on opposite side. Opposite of what you are looking at will equal 14

Get different color dice to confirm it. At this point you're just guessing but with different color dice you can see for sure which one pitched and which exploded

Did you have any trouble getting the dice to the wall while you played on that trip? On Harmony we (most control shooters) had trouble with the dice hitting flat face on the table and dieing right there and not getting to the wall.
