Not sure if I’ll get a response.
When I did this the copper changed back to original color. How do I keep it from changing back?

Will the color still there if you polish it?

The colour is a result of the growth of the surface oxide layer. If you abrade the surface it will affect the colour.

Hmmm, it almost looks like they've been switched with anodized pieces. It appears that you can see clamp marks from anodization too. Very skeptical.... 🧐

Do some research. It’s a common thing to color copper using only heat. I do it regularly with a butane torch, the colors this way get even more bright.

doubt he was lying it called resonance some said it was form of transmutation sound crazy right? if u got skeptic why not try for urself u only need bunch of copper and put the on oven

Anodization is a very similar process to this. Both involve increasing the surface oxide layer. Look up "titanium flame anodization" for more examples.

@@lighttblue . I’m curious , I’ve given electroplating copper onto steel and it keep going pink. One batch, few I got that nice copper brown look. I buffed it and the plate got warm with the Grinder… would heat have a similar effect whilst using a solution (even just brushing it on whilst the surface is still warm/hot ?!?

@@tengucraft I found your video quite interesting. Very well thought out. Probably one of the best as far as testing goes. I too, work with copper. As an artist, I want to achieve the Red color, the problem arises when I want to preserve the color. As no amount of lacquer will do this. It turns Orange.
