Bad Apple!! but it's only the motion and my code is broken [FLASHING LIGHTS WARNING!]

So I had an idea for my own take on Bad Apple. I got the code working, but right before I fixed all the bugs, something interesting happened. The bugs actually looked much cooler than my intended result! I'm happy to share this rainbow nightmare with you all!
I put a lot of effort into the subtitles. Let me know if they are off at all.

For those who care, the original idea was to use a dense optical flow algorithm to show only the movement of the edges in the video, with colors corresponding to the direction and the brightness corresponding to the speed. I initially planned to simply make the "movement only" effect, where only the moving edges were visible. However, I accidentally mixed up a few variable names, and then something close to what you see in the video happened! I thought it was awesome, so I ran with it and made it even more trippy. - Krátké a kreslené filmy

This is actually the first time I've seen the lyrics in English. I'm surprised they rhyme so well even after translation
For what I’ve heard the translation did undergo some changes to actually fit with the music.
Pretty sure this version was made for English covers, I've seen these lyrics on a few English covers of this song before. Though I have no idea who the original was. Quite a few English covers do focus on landing a decent rhyme, so that makes sense
I personally have poured over all the fan and automatic translations of the original song out there, and I can say with certainty these English lyrics are a masterful rewriting of the original. They were originally posted by kursedm111 on DeviantArt.
They take all of the concepts and even difficult to convey feelings and ideas from the Japanese lyrics and incorporate them into poetic language that also goes perfectly with the original song lyrics. It hits both the emotional and rhythmic beats perfectly, and it was a joy to sync them!

I really like this aesthetic. Sorry it's an accident. The comforting hollow chaos of television static, but much, much gayer. Moving in waves, the lights seem to have a memory, like oil on water. Stunning. I love this.

this is awesome, and I love how you included the english lyrics in the captions! It makes the entire experience better. However, at 1:43 there's an error: the lyric is "they will never understand", not "I".
Most versions of that lyric do use "I will never understand," so it's not an error in this person's translation. There's a few variations on the translation, so that might be one of them.

This is my first time seeing captions for bad apple, i never thought that it is so
holy crap. as a person who is trying to learn code at a young age and figure out how computers react when you do the worst thing you could ever inflict on even an existing organism, this literally uncovers one thing i wanted to find out when it comes to broken code
is there any way you can manipulate the corruption?
and this gives so much of an advantage. even when using that to prevent full corruption or doing it to ensure an video or image acts the same but with a different and cool effect. the issue remains where people could more than likely use this for viruses to make sure if you don't pay up in the right time, slowly and slowly the file will get more corrupted to the point where its unusable, resulting in guilt that you didn't pay earlier.
Not even gonna lie, this looks almost as cool as what you were originally going for.

So the headphone port on my phone is dying and well, it made the perfect unpleasant static-y audio for the visuals I was convinced you had messed with the audio in the video until I started fiddling with my cord and it went back to normal. 10/10 would reccomend watching this video on a 5 year old phone that's physically and digitally falling apart.
